New SmartyHost customers can buy a 20-year Web hosting package for $999. The promotion offers a savings of $42,120 over the 20-year period.

"Christmas time is when a business Web page's ability to deal with traffic and is most important, with last minute Internet gift buying, requests and photo sharing," says Anoosh Manzoori, managing director of SmartyHost. "So while our customers can rely on their Web site through this busy time we can also offer them a great saving in the long-run."

SmartyHost says the promotion follows another successful year, with more than 25,000 new customers. To take part in SmartyHost's Lifetime Membership offer, customers can log on to the SmartyHost Web site and register their contact details. The offer is valid until 9 a.m. on December 31.
