Jun, 2001 : ManagedOps.com Unveils New Managed Operations Services
📅 - On Tuesday, application service provider ManagedOps.com introduced three Managed Operations services, Entry-Level, Standard and Select, for the Microsoft Great Plains and Siebel applications that it hosts and delivers over the Internet to customers worldwide.
The three services, which are based on customer preferences, vary by the number of applications supported, range of services, and price. ManagedOps.com says all three provide predictable costs for the benefits of a secure data center with high reliability, system and network monitoring, and single-point-of-resolution application support.
"Our goal in establishing three distinct services is to give customers the flexibility to choose the application software, technical support, change control, project management, customization, and computing environment that fit their needs," said Dan Taylor, ManagedOps.com CEO.
The company also unveiled a sophisticated cost-analysis tool designed to enable prospective customers to accurately gauge their in-house IT costs, and compare them with the known costs of having their software delivered as a service. ManagedOps.com will make the IT cost analysis tool available at no cost through its more than 100 channel partners in North America.
"The cost of IT, the level of service, the anticipated benefits, and customer satisfaction are all fundamental factors in quantifying ROI, which in uncertain economic times is at the top of every prospective customer'slist of questions. For midmarket businesses, determining IT costs is particularly elusive. With our cost-analysis tool, we're making it easy for individual businesses to discover what they are really spending on IT, and how these costs measure up to the greater value and the lower, known cost of Managed Operations," said Taylor.
ManagedOps.com is demonstrating the IT cost-analysis tool this week at the DCI Customer Relationship Management Conference at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.
