Nov, 2001 : Merilus CEO to Join Team Canada Trade Mission

📅 November 23, 2001 - Merilus, Inc. (merilus.com) CEO, Dana Epp, has accepted an invitation to join the upcoming Team Canada West trade mission led by Canada's Prime Minister Jean Chretien, Western Provincial Premiers andTerritorial Government Leaders to Los Angeles, California on Nov. 27-30,2001.

Merilus will be using this mission to increase their profile in the westernstates while supporting their established US distribution partners, IngramMicro and Insight. This mission follows a successful Team Canada Atlanticmission to Boston and Atlanta. The Team Canada West Trade Mission coversfive different industries; Merilus is representing the Information andCommunication Technology industry.
California is Canada's second largest export market after Japan and is theworld's fifth largest economy. Last year alone, California imported $15.6billion in exports from Canada and more is expected in 2001.
"We are currently building on our existing presence in California and thismission is a great opportunity for Merilus to further explore this marketand expand our reseller customer base," said Epp. "The contacts provided bymission organizers will give our sales people the opportunity to demonstrateour products to key players in the industry.
