May, 2002 : divine Announces Content Management Upgrade Program

📅 May 10, 2002 - Chicago-based divine Inc. (divine.com), a provider of managed solutions for enterprises, yesterday unveiled a new competitive conversion program for companies using content management tools from Interwoven and Vignette to upgrade to divine Content Server.

Under the upgrade program, divine is offering a software license fee credit for qualified customers that replace deployed content management systems from Vignette and Interwoven with divine's Content Server. The company also said it would provide customers which opted to move with an initial assessment and specific migration plan to provide for a smooth, quick upgrade.
divine's Content Server provides a single platform for deploying information-rich applications like portals, marketing campaigns, B2B catalogs, and publications. The platform is currently licensed to more than 300 customers in 43 countries.
"In addition to the strength of our content management products, divine's professional services organization has significant expertise in deploying and integrating divine Content Server, as well as competitive products," said Jeff Dewing, Global Solution Director for divine Professional Services. "As a result, customers can feel confident that the migration will be smooth."
