Jun 27, 2002 : RoundHeaven Unveils New Name, Products
📅 - Managed hosting service provider RoundHeaven Communications Inc. (roundheaven.com) announced on Wednesday that, fulfilling the terms of its $20 million June 2001 financing, the company has introduced its new name and brand, Fusepoint Managed Services, along with the opening of its new 85,000 square foot data center in the Greater Toronto Area.
Fusepoint's expanded operations, says the company, make it the first Canadian managed service provider to offer small, medium and enterprise customers a choice of three fully-managed service bundles for secure hosting and e-commerce.
Among the features of the new data center facility are built-in firewalls, multiple layers of back-up power generations, a multiple air-filtering system located around the data hub, a redundant network, separate links to hydro sub-stations and on-site intrusion detection.
"With our new brand and expanded operations in both Vancouver and Toronto, we are confident that Fusepoint will be the forerunner in Canada's managed services market," says Robert Offley, president and CEO of Fusepoint. "Moreover, our expansion enables us to offer clients secure hosting environments across the country as well as a choice of cost-effective, fully-managed solution bundles."
Along with the expanded operations, says the company, a new logo and new corporate design are being developed for RoundHeaven, now called Fusepoint Managed Services.
"The new name signals another era of corporate growth and reflects our approach to business, connecting companies with their customers to achieve bottom-line results," said Offley. "What's more, our re-branding symbolizes our commitment to dominating the emerging fully managed services market."
