Jul 24, 2002 : Q9 Hosts Web Based Program for Mr. Lube

📅 July 24, 2002 - Canadian managed infrastructure and Web hosting service provider Q9 Networks Inc. (Q9.com -> equinix.com) announced on Wednesday that it has been chosen by vehicle maintenance service company Mr. Lube, to host a new Web-based employee technical certification program.

The application, developed by Ottawa-based e-learning company Acerra (acerra.com), replaces a paper-based certification in order to better address the requirements of a geographically dispersed workforce, re-certification requirements and increasingly complex learning demands.
Q9 says its managed service bundle was chosen by Mr. Lube after the company considered an internal solution, as well as other hosting providers. The bundle includes a dedicated server, managed bandwidth and tape back-up service, and is backed by Q9's 100 percent network uptime guarantee.
