📅 July 26, 2002 - Integration software provider webMethods Inc. (webmethods.com) announced on Thursday that it will host a one-hour Webcast designed to offer strategies for deriving value from Enterprise Web Services initiatives to corporate executives and IT leaders.

The Webcast, says webMethods, is the first in the company's three-part business leadership series, and will discuss how Enterprise Web Services are changing the way companies develop and deploy applications and communicate with employees, partners and customers.
Covering practical techniques for integrating Web services with applications and business processes, the seminar will offer first-hand accounts of Global 2000 companies achieving bottom line results with Enterprise Web Services initiatives.
The discussion will cover how Web services are changing application integration; the pitfalls of today's Web service standards; and case studies of companies successfully transforming their businesses with Enterprise Web Services.
The free one-hour seminar will take place on Wednesday, July 31 at 11:00 am Eastern time. Interested attendees can register at the company's Web site.

📅 Jul 25, 2002 - IBM to Host Ware E-Health Claims Site - Service provider IBM Canada Ltd. (ibm.ca) announced on Thursday that it has been chosen by e-health solution provider Ware Solutions to host its online claims processing system ebill.ca (ebill.ca), and help in the delivery of IT solutions to the healthcare industry. IBM says its technology allows Ware's solutions to provide the timely online exchange of patient information between care providers, Ministries of Health and insurance companies. Ware's e-health product suite, says IBM, has also integrated hospital and lab systems, medical and drug reference information from Health Canada, electronic medical records and scheduling functions for care providers.

📅 Jul 25, 2002 - F5 Announces Third Quarter 2002 Earnings - Internet traffic management provider F5 Networks (F5.com -> hostinger.com) announced its earnings for the company's third fiscal quarter 2002 on Tuesday, in line with preliminary results announced on July 8. The company reported a pro forma net loss of $1.3 million, or 5 cents per share, on pro forma revenue of $27.3 million. The results were a slight improvement over the loss of $1.8 million, or 7 cents per share, on revenues of $27.1 million reported in the previous quarter. The company says its small growth in revenue reflected strong sales in North America as well as continued improvement in the company's European Business, which was offset by weak performance in Japan.

(debtx.com) has chosen Intensive to provide managed hosting for its online mortgage auction site. Intensive Hosting, which offers managed hosting for complex Web sites on the Microsoft platform, was launched as an alternative to Digex-WorldCom. Boston-based DebtX, says Intensive, is one of the country's largest full-service loan sale advisors. 📅 Jul 29, 2002 - Conxion Provides Delivery Service for Oracle - Managed hosting and digital delivery and storage service provider Conxion Corporation (conxion.com) announced on Monday that the company's relationship with software giant Oracle (oracle.com) has been expanded to include more digital delivery and storage services. Since June 1, says Conxion, Oracle has been using the company's HotRoute Digital Delivery Network (DDN) for the delivery of additional software titles and documentation from Oracle's online developer network, the Oracle Technology Network.
