Jul, 2002 : Alabanza CEO Named Entrepreneur of the Year

📅 July 30, 2002 - Web hosting automation solution provider Alabanza (Alabanza.com -> navisite.com) announced on Monday that the company had experienced several successes, with its Chairman and CEO selected as Regional Entrepreneur of the Year and the company sustaining annual growth of 20 percent.

Tom Cunningham, Chairman and CEO of Alabanza, was given the Entrepreneur of the Year award by Ernst & Young. The award is given to business leaders that have maintained successful, growing business ventures. As the winner in the IT category, Cunningham is eligible to win the national award in November.
"We are proud that even in the face of the recent turmoil in the technology industry, Alabanza is continuing to achieve a number of notable corporate successes," says Cunningham. "This is a true testament to the strength of our management team and ability to accurately address the business-critical needs of the Web hosting marketplace through our solution offerings."
Recipients of the award, says Alabanza, were selected by an independent panel comprised of local business, financial, academic and media figures.
