📅 - Bay Area Internet Solutions (bayarea.net -> vxchnge.com -> hostinger.com) recently took over a 24,000 square foot Internet Data Center in Santa Clara, California, formerly operated by Exodus Communications, which included $10 million of preinstalled infrastructure, which the company procured for pennies on the dollar.
The move allows Bay Area Internet Solutions to target small, medium, and large enterprises with expanded, highly available Internet access solutions that include key service offerings ranging from pure collocation or limited managed services to fully managed infrastructures, high-speed access solutions, and other related managed services.
With its new Class-A IDC, Steve Stewart, Vice President Sales & Marketing, reports that "Bay Area Internet Solutions will focus on not only collocation, but also scalable high-speed leased line access and additional managed infrastructure services."
According to Stewart, other new and expanded services available from the company include security evaluation and auditing, infrastructure performance evaluation and consulting, complete infrastructure deployment and management, complex network monitoring and reporting, comprehensive "Remote Hands" services, system network administration, managed VPN and firewalls, and data back up and restore services.
Bay Area Internet Solutions was able to dramatically increase its capabilities at a significantly lower cost than its competitors it intends to be as aggressive as possible by extending extremely competitively priced solutions to both potential and existing customers.
