Jun 27, 2007 : WebSitePulse Expands to China
📅 - Email monitoring system provider WebSitePulse (websitepulse.com) announced on Wednesday that it has launched two new activation locations in Beijing and Shanghai, China.
With its new monitoring locations in mainland China, WebSitePulse expands its presence in the Asian Pacific region and offers broader Web monitoring choices to its customers, says the company. Information about Web sites, Web systems and Web applications performance measured from the specific geographic locations where the end users are is important, says WebSitePulse, as it provides e-business owners and operators with critical operational insights.
"WebSitePulse perceives the phenomenal growth potential of China as an opportunity to serve more customers with e-business operations targeting the Chinese market, as well as China-based e-businesses communicating with the rest of the world," says Iavor Marinoff, CEO of WebSitePulse. "So far, we have been offering Web monitoring services from our Singapore and Hong Kong locations, but now, performance data generated by our system in Beijing and Shanghai will be much more precise, reliable and useful to our customers depending on Web-based business opportunities, transactions and communications with China."
According to the China Internet Network Information Center, China had more than 137 million Internet users at the end of 2006, making it the second to the US in the number of Internet users. Beijing residents accounted for 30.4 percent of the nation's total Internet use while Shanghai placed second with 28.7 percent of total Internet users.
