😠 I recently switched from MyInternetServices.com to a different hosting company (and registrar) because of not only the bad customer service, but inaccurate billing charges.
Example of their customer service: After 2 days of the server being down - verified by my site visitors from all over the world- I received an email (they left the support ticket open for 2 days) that my site was in fact up and they did not see any problems.
Billing issues? The company changed ownership and my bill skyrocketed. After much jumping through hoops my billing was changed back to the original amount in my contract.
Wayne makes a great point in his previous review on the Domain Registrar thievery department. Not only do they gouge you on these "premium" charges, once you pay for and submit the requested changes they can take up to a week to process (for a simple domain name repoint!) - I know better now how DNS changes work because through my current provider I am able to submit the same changes [read more...]

😠 I don't know much about their hosting, but myinternetservices.com as a domain registrar is TERRIBLE! They have no console to control DNS, and after contacting them, they told me I have to submit requests for DNS changes and pay $5 each! Their practice of placing themselves as every contact in the whois is just outright dishonest, because now I go to transfer the domain to someone else and they are going to charge me $10 for that (they have themselves as the tech contact and are holding the codes hostage). Beyond terrible service, they are just plain TOO expensive! Do yourself a favor and go with a major domain registrar!
