These guys are the worst. The only reason that I have stayed with them so long is it's a pain to change everything over, but my experience this past week has been typical whenever tech support is needed.
They recently migrated my site to a new OS...ever since they touched it 5 days ago my site has been down. Tech support has been useless, and since I work in the IT field myself I have a true understanding of just hoe LITTLE their tech support personnel know.
I can also vouch for Maria's comments about billing with them. It is a NIGHTMARE. It took almost a year for me to get some charges reversed. A few years back after they did an email conversion I tried getting a hold of one of their customer "Advocates". I explained to this person that since they hosed up my email for 2 weeks that they owed me money off my next bill because they failed to provide services as per the contract. She told me that email wasn't included in the contract and that they don't back up emails.
Be very afraid of this company. They obviously have very little concern for their customers. I used to own stock back when they were Interland, but I dumped that years ago once I saw how crappy this company was going to turn out.
My advice....stay far away from this hosting provider.
