Volusion was good about 10 years ago. I started using their service about 10 years ago. Now they are very bad. You can say that they sucks. They have many problems and they do not inform customers until they call. For example, problems with emails not coming in. At one point, we were surprised that we had only few emails for the past 2 days. Then we received calls from customers complaining that their emails are not answered. When we called Volusion, they mentioned they were having intermittent problems. Don't you think you should tell your customers if such problems affect them? Also, their server is getting slower everyday. It is literally a slug. I regret paying $350/month for such a poor service. I am ready to move. I am exporting my data and getting ready to find other commerce company who cares more about their customers.
Just a note, my company and other customers that are using Volusion are currently having problems for the past 3 days since January 1st, 2011. Their engineers could not resolve problems with the Live Rate integration with United States Postl Service. As a result, our business comes to a halt for the past 3 days. I have been calling them to check when the problem will be resolved and they give me the same response or texts (sometimes I chat using their live support) that just copy and paste. Same text every time. I guess they have an open screen with the text on it for copy and paste.
I do not recommend Volusion. Volusion should be AVOIDED at all cause. They care more about themselves than their customers.
