Very rude and unfriendly customer service. Their business practice is unethical and immoral.
I had web hosting and SSL certificate from them.
They only send me a bill to pay for the next year of hosting, when the notice period to cancel has lapsed. When I asked why was I not reminded or sent the bill earlier, and why do I have to pay for an SSL certificate which is nowadays available for free, they didn’t answer my question instead they said, if I ask any further questions they will send me another bill for the effort of answering the question. And all this is written in their AGB (terms and conditions).
So basically as a customer, you cannot even ask questions over the ethics of their ‘convenient billing timing’ or why am I made to pay 46 fr. for a free SSL certificate.
As a company they can put whatever they like in their terms and conditions and have a lawyer on stand by to shut up the customer and even make the customer pay for it.
I will never work with them again. And high recommend you to look through other negative reviews as well. They all tell the same story. Stay away from these guys.
Lastly, in case you don’t know guys, here’s a video explaining that you don’t need to buy SSL certificates. It’s awful that companies like Server town are still charging customers for something that should be free. I also asked them to explain what is better in their SSL certificate and got no answer.
