😠 Achtung Abo falle
Die Abo falle, ist ärgerlich und kaum nachvollziehbar. Andere Anbieter arbeiten längst nicht mehr wie im Steinzeit Alter Servertown jedoch schon. Kann ich wirklich nicht mehr empfehlen, war zuvor immer ein zufriedener Kunde das hat sich nun geändert!

😠 Mies, einfach nur mies
Als ich mir im vorherein die Bewertungen von diesem Hoster gelesen habe, stand für mich fest: Dieser Host hat ein Problem mit dem Service. Aber hey, ist ja dafür nicht allzu teuer. Ohhboooy habe ich mich getäuscht. Wie diese Firma mit dieser Art und Weise, wie Sie mit Kunden umgeht immer noch besteht, verstehe ich wirklich nicht. Es ist eine absolute Tragödie.

😠 Very rude and unfriendly customer service. Their business practice is unethical and immoral.
I had web hosting and SSL certificate from them.
They only send me a bill to pay for the next year of hosting, when the notice period to cancel has lapsed. When I asked why was I not reminded or sent the bill earlier, and why do I have to pay for an SSL certificate which is nowadays available for free, they didn’t answer my question instead they said, if I ask any further questions they will send me another bill for the effort of answering the question. And all this is written in their AGB (terms and conditions).
So basically as a customer, you cannot even ask questions over the ethics of their ‘convenient billing timing’ or why am I made to pay 46 fr. for a free SSL certificate.
As a company they can put whatever they like in their terms and conditions and have a lawyer on stand by to shut up the customer and even make the customer pay for it.

😁 Der Kundenservice ist spitzenklasse. Ich habe schon so oft hier angerufen und ich wurde jedes einzelne Mal ganz freundlich und geduldig betreut. Ich hatte so viele Fragen und alle wurden beantwortet.. Ich weiß gar nicht ob das ihr Aufgabenbereich war aber trotzdem war die Dame am Telefon stets bemüht mir weiter zu helfen.

😠 Kein Kundenservice!! Ich habe servertown.ch kontaktiert weil ich nicht wollte, dass mein Service automatisch verlaengert wird. Dazu hatte ich auch eine Frage bezueglich dem Service. Die erste Anfrage habe ich durch das Ticket System gesendet. Das war vor ca. 8 Wochen. Das Datum kann ich nicht genau sagen, weil das Ticket System keine Funktion hat Tickets anzuschauen. Danach habe ich die Bude per Email kontaktiert aber habe wieder keine Antwort erhalten. Das war vor zwei Wochen. Ich habe auch meine Spam Emailbox ueberprueft. Absolut kein Kundenservice.

😠 Ein absolutes Desaster. Noch nie wurde ich als Kundin irgendwo derart beleidigt wie bei Servertown. Hier wird Kunden sogar der Hörer aufgelegt. Das Interessante ist, dass es einer Bekannten unabhängig von mir genau gleich erging. Die Geschäftsführer haben offensichtlich ein Problem mit Frauen und werden total ausfällig. Erst als ich meinen Partner vorschickte, mässigten sie sich ein bisschen im Ton. Aber ganz klar: nie mehr im Leben. Und wo immer möglich, rate ich von dieser Firma ab.

😠 Mein Vertrag wurde automatisch verlaengert und angeblich wurden mir Emails geschrieben um die Rechnung zu bezahlen. Aus welchen Gruenden auch immer habe ich keine dieser Emails gesehen. Die letzte Email die ich gefunden habe war vor ca. 3 Jahren. Anstatt automatisch mir einen Brief zu schreiben (ich haette die paar Franken fuer den Brief auch bezahlt) wurde ich automatisch an ein Betreibungsbuero weitergeleitet. Kosten:

😠 Mein persönlicher Eindruck:
Aufgrund von einigen Themen war ich mit dem Support von Severtown im Kontakt. Dieser Antwortet normalerweise schnell, aber leider meist aus meiner Sicht nciht kompetent. Die vom support verwendete Sprache lässt für mich Respekt und Ernsthaftigkeit vermissen. Anregungen und Lösungsvorschläge werden aus meiner Sicht nicht ernsthaft diskutiert.
Nach einigem Hin und Her schaltete sich der Geschäftsführer ein, dieser schien mir wenig Interesse an einer einvernehmlichen Lösungen zu haben, er schien eher auf Konfrontation aus. Abschliessend reagierte er, indem er mit sagte er werde nun eine Rechnung für Beratung stellen, dies tat er dann auch. Für mich war dies vollständig nicht nachvollziehbar.
Insgesamt funktioniert Servertown technisch aus meiner Sicht recht gut. Gleichzeitig darf man bei den Preisen auch keine Spitzenleistung erwarten. Jedoch ist ein despektierliches Verhalten des Anbieters, so wie ich es wahrnahm aus meiner Sicht nicht akzeptabel.

😠 Absolut unprofessioneller Service. Noch nie einen unfreundlicheren und schlechteren Service gesehen als das. Der Preis ist unschlagbar gut, alles andere ist mies. Auch ist die Benutzerfreundlichkeit für nicht IT-Profis nicht besonders hoch, wie ich finde.
Also ein klares no go für mich. Lieber etwas mehr bezahlen, dafür bleibt man auch lange und hat einen guten (und stabilen) Service! Klare Sache - ein Stern ist sogar noch zu viel.

😠 Was für eine erbärmliche Bude...in meinem 1. Jahr hatte es schon 2 gröbere Aussetzer, wobei auch wichtige Emails ganz verloren gingen. Die DOWNTIME ist lächerlich, über 72h...man kann meinen dass dieser Host zum ersten mal was mit Internet zu tun hat.
Ich habe mein vorherigen Host nach 15Jahren gekündigt, weil die Preise zu hoch sind, hatte aber NIE Probleme...habe auf Servertown geswitched wegen den günstigen Preisen, aber das ist auch alles was "positiv" ist.
Das zeigt dass tiefe Preis nicht gleich guter Service ist..im gegenteil. Werde so schnell wie möglich Provider wechseln.

😠 Obwohl ein anonymisiertes Hosting vereinbart war, ist meine vollständige private Adresse auf nic.ch durchgeleckt. Dort wurde sie von Google aufgenommen und ist nun über Datenbanken abrufbar. Nun muss ich selbst sehen, wie die Daten von dort wieder verschwinden...

I would like to use a Swiss Hosting a for a new Project and the prices from Servertown are lower as the other Swiss Hosting Providers.
BUT: We had asked the Support about how to enable Cronjobs (in the Plesk Admin it was no option for this)
They first answer was: Its not activated by default. What should this job do and how often?
We replied that that Cronjobs are are Basic Feature and why theres no Information on the Website and Order that Cronjobs are not activated.
The Second answer from Servertown was: Its a Shared Hosting and on our Website it is not published that Cronjobs are available in your Package.
We answered with a Screenshot (where Cronjobs are available in our Package and get this answer from them:
