Nexcess support is horrible

I switched to Nexcess sip-100 plan from Host Gator business plan thinking that I would get a server tuned for Magento and from what I could find in forums good support. Well the support has been horrible since the day the migration took place. It is going on 3 weeks now and I have yet to begin working on my site. The support team just does not seem to be able to take a problem and run with it. It gets delayed, they really seem like they have no idea how to fix your problems, you can't get a status from them and just try to get them to bounce it up to a higher level of support, it just doesn't happen. I guess I was spoiled at Host Gator and their extraordinary support team, but I really should have figured out when a company only has email support it was going to be problematic. Send an email in and wait and hope they actually answer it, no way to simply open a chat session if a problem is high priority or you simply need support now. I really have to consider moving off and finding another host that can really support Magento with a great responsive support team. This has been the worst experience I have ever been through, I really can't see how they can repair this very bad customer experience.
