Worst host ever!
I have been making websites ever since I was 15 - so now 7 years and this is by far the worst I have ever seen.
Let's start from the beginningy...
I registered first, weary of this company as they are the older brother site of 000webshost. At 000webhost, my site was constantly under pressure because of a few people visiting my site when it first opened. They closed my account and breached freedom of information acts, copyright acts and data protection acts by refusing to release my files to me unless I paid to upgrade with them under their hosting24 brand...
So this I did because I didn't want to lose my files. Worst Mistake EVER! The site ran exactly the same way, with the exact same support staff who lack the knowledge to check server statuses and logs - and only ever reply to issue reports as "everything seems to be fine for me" - as the consumers, we know what is okay and what is not...TAKE NOTICE OF OUR MESSAGES!
This is when I spoke to Darren R and he stated that by upgrading from Silver to Gold, you will have your own Dedicated IP. I asked their support manager, Darren, about this and he said it meant that the site should work faster than on a Silver Plan.
Again, nothing changed...same poorly performing servers, same poorly educated school dropouts responding to support requests and this time, lots of database issues to add to the collection of issues.
Today, their cpanel, ftp and my entire website has gone down and they still fail to acknowledge that they have a problem.
The only good things I see about this host is that they use cPanel and not a cheaper Vista Panel or similar like others do, and that they seemingly offer unlimited space and bandwidth - although don't upload more than a few MB or they will say their own website runs on only a few MB and yours shouldn't either - they have actually had the cheek to say this to me before.
I have told them I want immediate access to my files or I will take action both lawfully and with PayPal to gain complete refunds and damages.
