After the second time Heart has brought my sites down it is time to change. They changed their SQL server which required customers to charge their parameter files. When I told them my Drupal sites were down they denied they'd made any changes. I was down for a week. After chasing them a number of times they finally changed my parameter file (w/o my permission) and said it was ok without any explanation. Through follow-up I found out what had really happened.
Recently they made a change requiring memory parameters to be updated or sites won't work. Again they changed my parameter file (w/o my knowledge or permission) and said "it's ok now" without any explanation. That is just so ARROGANT (Sam Howson).
Every time I think of Heart Internet and their support it makes my blood boil. I am moving all 4 of my sites from there. Without a direct debit (which my customer has cancelled) I have no way of communicating with them. They've locked me out of the support system, there is no phone number and no email address.
