Well I have been with Fatcow for about a week now and I have to say what bullcrap!
First thing, the only pages on my website that work at all are html based. I spent the first 3 days agonizing over what I thought were improperly installed databases, so I called in some help from my brother in law. Finally after several chats with tech support and a total database and file manager wipe we managed to produce 3 working installed databases (beware files in the file manager like to hang on and you often get errors when attempting to delete things and you always have to delete your databases manually and do clean installs of everything if a problem occurs. so be prepared to ask for reset help).

Next the trials and tribulations of installing and debugging your site. Well good luck on this one. If you intend to use anything other than html pages it is a nightmare. The .php files are agonizingly slow to update and often cause errors in the sql data base resulting in pages loading with error messages saying you do not have a valid sql address. This can last anywhere from 1 minute to infinite time. manually refreshing your database can sometimes clear up this problem. If your site is working you can bank on a 3-5 minute refresh time for the page to update and the database to right itself. I have a wordpress site. So everytime new content is added it causes an error. FUN! Also if no traffic goes to my sight for about half an hour the database slips into hibernation. YES REALLY, mine is asleep right now and I cant get it to wake up, even with manual refreshing. I've already contacted customer support and they updated my ticket, I could have done that myself. I have been updating my ticket all week on my own just fine, sending screenshots of errors with timestamps etc. Yes they ask for those. Its supposed to help , but after just a few hours I'm really bored with it. But I digress...

Next there is the question of getting your no hassle refund. You wish! I have a full bounty now of free add-ons after throwing a fit about a refund. They even gave me a lifetime of premium support, which amounts to absolutely nothing because my site is still broken and tech support is still happy to update my ticket for me and send me on my way, disappointed. You cant move your domain off their hosting for 60 days after you sign up, which ofc is past the 30 day trial. So in 60 days when I can move my domain I am gone and I dont care if they give me free hosting for life.

Customer support is terrible. I live in Europe so i have to use the live chat function. The "tech support" operators are just secretaries. They really cant do anything if something is going really wrong. They will open / update a ticket for you and tell you that it will take roughly 24-48 hours before a technical engineer can review your case. They are disgustingly sweet, all use fake names, and often put you on hold for 4-5 minutes while they review your file. You will realize this is an auto responder after it clicks up the 3rd or 4th time and the chat starts to replay. No one is really there at all, or at least they arent paying attention to you. At the end of 48 hours (or more) you will get a polite email telling you that they have looked at your system and it is working fine, glad its all been resolved. Ofc nothing will be resolved and it wont be working. But now you have to go back to the ticket and reopen it and resubmit a new query or go back through tech support, rinse, repeat.

Oh yes, and as an after thought...the email doesnt work.
