It's funny, Herminio Disini the dickshit who stole 10 Billion dollars from the U.S and Marcos family, and now his son owns the dotPH domains. Don't trust the bullshit reviews, they're all from the employees from the company, you're better off using you Paypal on using foreign web hosting services.
First off, the monopoly here is apparent, like in telecommunications we have PLDT, Globe and Smart, dotPH is one (and only one) of those monopolies. They charge you exorbitant prices for shit services, seriously compare one of their services on this link: https://new.dot.ph/pricing and go ahead and search a reputable international web hoster, you will see the difference. You pay so much money when other companies ask for so much less and provide more,
Their customer service is incompetent at best, you will spend most of the time actually explaining your concerns and terminologies with grade-A retards, security to them is just a joke, there is so much vulnerability that you'll receive so much malware and spam from your email, that you'll have a better time downloading a virus? As you can see here in this review section, most of them are near the same date, Jan 15, 16 and 18, compare that to the only other comment that was from 2010. Isn't it obvious that these are fake reviews? Honestly, I've seen better bullshitting from a 6th grader's excuse letter for being absent.
They will reel you in the time you call or chat for a sales rep, they will do anything in their power to get a sub but won't respond to your emails once you have a problem.
Bottom line? Don't trust any website/domain hoster in the Philippines, you'd be better off with Arvixe or GoDaddy, even if they have their problems. And before you say "Oh they're in the Philippines so I can contact them or probably make a case!" just remember that this cock sniffer owns the monopoly in web hosting, that's like saying you want to file a case against the head of Meralco or PLDT. In any case, if you already subscribed, I just hope you can get your money back, I'm never going to trust any PH based web hosting again.
PS. I'm a born, raised Filipino, so before you judge that I'm a foreigner that should go back to his privelleged country, think this, just because you're a Filipino doesn't mean you deserve third class treatment, it's 2015 now and you should get your money's worth.
