Everything about their website looks great and gives you great confidence that you're selecting a great hosting service. They have what seems to me to be a good selection of software that can be added to your website - one of these is moodle (www.moodle.org).

But after installing moodle on my website, I kept getting internal server errors (500). They would come and go. I contacted their customer service, and one of their reps got back to me saying that I was forwarding to another hosting service. I was not. So the rep tried again saying that I was putting all my files in the wrong folder. I was not. So the rep tried again and got to a part of the website that was working and copy-pasted some info into a response saying that everything was working. My problem was with a different part of the website and was *intermittent* so it's no surprise that the rep got something that was working.

In another issue, my web-pages take between 8ms and 8000ms to load. The same page can take anywhere between 8ms and 8000ms to load. And there's only 2 images on those pages!

Another issue is that ftp access is slow. My ftp clients keep timing out because they get no response from the ftp server.

Another more recent issue is that the connection to the server keeps getting reset and my pages don't load. This is a new issue and is what prompted me to vent. If I have customers or business partners relying on information on my website, it *HAS* to be online. It seems that I can't rely on domain.com to keep my website accessible to those customers and business partners. This issue has multiple affects - I can't update the website with new information, and my viewers can't even see the outdated information that may still be a little relevant.

Despite their lack of service, their prices would be actually pretty good if everything worked. Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and your site will be consistently online, with nice load times.

I am *not* going to be selecting domain.com again.
