Domain.com is the worst, Avoid at all costs!
I have been with domain.com for a couple of years and I am going to try and put this into appropriate words!
Do not ever use domain.com for anything - they are the worst hosting company I have ever encountered in 15 years of hosting. They are completely useless when you need support to such an extent that you will not believe me if I go into details.
Basically, on the last incident, they crashed and deleted all my 15 sites, 2 months later recovered some of them and my main site is lost forever, after 3-4 months of downtime I eventually managed to do a domain transfer thank goodness. We will have to do a complete re-development at our own expense. In all this time their support and help and communication was ridiculous and dismal. The take weeks to answer a support ticket. Yes not hours or days, weeks, even months!
They constantly reset your dns records and then all your emails crash for 1-2 days.
I think an orc started the company and appointed other orcs to take care of the hosting.
I really don't know how to say it any clearer- just stay away from them, if you have domains with them - backup and move becuase you will urgently need support one day and you will not get it. No, you will not! really you won't. Yes I promise , you won't!
Make backups to your own media as they will at some point lose your online backups when you need it most.
Don't be fooled by their pretty site. There are plenty of other proper companies that do actually provide a service, don't risk it!!! Use someone else.
Or, if you are suicidal maybe you should give them a try, you might like them.
