Bit of a learning curve, but great service!
I just signed up with Domain.com last week to transfer my six domains to save money, to keep all my domain names and domains in one place, and also because Domain.com is known for not having any appreciable down time.
At first I had a lot of problems with the transfer process, but the rep and tech support walked me through everything over the phone. All the problems I encountered were due to my lack of knowledge about some parts of the process, but once I caught on everything transferred and all sites are now running smoothly, including email. It took about 36 hours to complete the entire process (there is a certain amount of wait time for the domain hosts and Whois to complete the process). I experienced about two hours down time, but that was because my email addresses with my old hosting company and Domain.com did not match and Whois didn't like that. So it's little things like that that can throw a wrench in the works. Still, Domain.com personnel were able to find out what was wrong so I knew what I had to do to correct it.
In reading the poor reviews here, I recognized a lot of the issues I had. However, my rep was always available and support got back to me within hours both by phone and email. So I don't know why some of the folks here have received no responses.
There is definitely a learning curve and the Control Panel was a little confusing at first, but I found Domain.com to be much easier to use than any of the other hosting companies I've used once I learned how to use it.
