I'm a value shopper when I look for hosting companies. I typically take entry level plans. Typically the support for those types of plans are terrible. Some don't allow phone calls, and service is slow. One company had the habit of blaming you when they made a mistake. One time, their server crashed so they restored - which restored an earlier password. They blamed me for forgetting my password when I couldn't get in. (I keep a safe written copy - I didn't forget.) In contrast Arvixe does both email and phone support, is prompt and curteous, and has handled all my issues. They host for me a mixed setup - using both ASP/SQL and PHP/MySql apps. They've handled every issue promptly and professionally. They stuck with a difficult to track down issue with email and resolved that too. (I believe my previous company would have given up.) For the price, features and support, you can't beat these guys. They listen to what you say (not assume you're a dumb user they can tell anything to) and really seek customer satisfaction. I am both thoroughly pleased and impressed with their service.
