Scam

Arvixe.com is a bloody scam webhosting company, they are Scam and ponzy schemes

company with fake offers..i would suggest everyone not to use Arvixe ..as they are

going to close your website after some time and all your hard work will go for a

toss...They are such a cheap and mean Host service with pathetic support..i will

tell you guys my experience....

.recently i read online about an offer by Arvixe for students on many forums and

websites that they are giving 6 months free host to students email accounts...its

was everywhere so i give it a try and opened an account using my university email

address with them...and was able to create an account....i never share my

university email address with everyone as its private and confidential but

considering that this company seemed good....i opened an account and registered my

domain with them...which as my biggest mistake..

After registering the email account i got a verification email on my .edu account

and also on my gmail account forthe confirmation uincluding the website details

which i made..it was all good till that point.I was able to create the account.

university email address with them...and was able to create an account....i never

share my university email address with everyone as its private and confidential

but considering that this company seemed good....i opened an account and

registered my domain with them...Which was my biggest mistake..

After registering the email account i got a verification email on my .edu account

and also on my Gmail account for the confirmation including the website details

which i made..it was all good till that point.I was able to create the account.

After getting all the emails on my regular and ,edu student email account i was

glad that they are real and created my account and i started building my

website..so i logged in my account and checked all the details...but there was one

issue

It was showing my account unverified and there were 2 option either to verify by

using credit card or giving my ID proof.i was more comfortable with the ID

proof..but there was no way to share the CC details as i was given the account

under student offer without any cost....i didn't have any credit card to

verify...so ..i clicked on the chat support

The executive first tried to redirect me again on the same portal but when i

requested that its a free account and i don't have a bank card...then the

executive said he cant help me and i need to wait ..and transferred me to another

Sr. agent...after waiting for more then 30 minutes the other Rep replied and said

that they are going to do manual verification so 1 email has been sent on my .edu

account to verify with my user name and last 4 digit from the password..

I got this email and i replied back instantly with my details...but Crap after 15

minutes agent said they didn't receive the email...so i was blank that what the

hell is going on..i just replied ..

I had to reply 3 times but still agent said they will update me whenever they will

get the email.i kept my patience and left it for 2 hours to get there

response...Thank God after 2 hours i received this email from these people

I was glad and made up my mind to create a good first website by me.also i was not

worried to share my .edu email account and was sure that these are good people and

the company is legitimate...but it turned into my biggest nightmare..

for 2 days there was no issue with the site and i was able to check it very often

during the day ..everything was all set.

day before yesterday when i as talking with my friend and shown the website to him

i was shocked that the website was gone and also my account was locked...holly

shit..i became totally puzzled ..what it is this crap all about..so i contacted

chat and the phone support

The chat guy was not aware about the matter as he said he is a junior and cant

help it..so i called the phone support and talked with the other person...but no

good..

The Phone support executive was very dull and said he is also at a lower post and

cant do anything much..so he created the ticket that .and sent me a copy that my

account is locked due to fraud....

FRAUD....WTF...where is this fraud came from i just did everything they told me

and my account is showing verified too

So with lots of question in my mind i waited for there response for 1 day whats

the matter..

next day a horrible and bullish reply from another agent that..The case has been

sent to the upper department and they are gonna update it soon..I was almost

started cursing these people till that time ...

After few hours i got a reply from the CEO ( operations manager ) that i took

advantage of there free offer and didn't verify..I though what a son...of...B.....

what the hell he is been talking about..

I just made this shit website using my real info and also used my .edu email

address too...and just followed everything which they said ,..and now they started

blaming upon me..such a fake company and gold diggers..

fooling students with a fake offer and then disabling there website in order to

force them to purchase the paid service so that they can keep there websites

active....as they worked hard to build those website..

It was the biggest disgusting and dirty method i came across...i cant explain how

bad i felt to get such a false accuse and trying to grab money from my student

funds.

This company was the biggest fraud i ever come across...may be they are just like

worse in front of other Host providers like host-gator and all...the CEO is using

this bitchy trick to trap the students and get there private information...the

most private .edu email accounts to use it for marketing purposes and spam.

I had been really harassed a lot by the further conversation with there support as

they totally denied to reactivate my account..because the CEO is not willing..to

do it...

OMG...the CEO is so much beggar...that first they let there executives to Verify

the accounts and when a person already build the website...( students ) ..and

shared their private information...like address proof..edu email account and

all...then they delete the accounts ...to blackmail them for buying

subscriptions....

What a bloody game...Shame.

I don't want to write much as it will be more and more...if i start

writing..because i am highly suffered from this poor and sick web hosting

company..full of A***h***

I told them to report to my student counsel and BBB..but still received a fake

response that

Now i apologize to make you read all this bad story but the only purpose here is

to save those students from ...terrible scam run by the Arvixe..where they are

using a fake offer to give free hosting and then deactivating the accounts to

steam money from...poor and jobless students...and giving them a bad scam

experience.

I would like to request all the students and other parents , brothers ,sisters and

friends of students as well as other website owners to beware from this company

and ..never come into there Scam like me...as they might use the private info and

harass others like me...

There are better companies then this...i must share this experience to save other

students and innocent people not to be caught by Arvixe.

This is a completely fake review. The reviewer actually tired to scam Arvixe for a free account. At no point was the person harassed or lied to. Their account was approved as they created a free school account here: http://student.bfcc.edu/ . They then constantly changed their account details to meet the requirements to get a free hosting account. While they did create an e-mail account from that school, they are not a student as they reside in a different country than the school they "supposedly" go to and in a class that does not exist. We even offered to reinstate their account if they could provide information that they were actually enrolled in the class they said they were, which they were not able to. They posted this review as soon as we asked them for their student information. We have 1000s of students who use our services and it is not a difficult process to verify one's account. When someone tries to cheat our system what you read in this review is what will happen.
