Dear friends,
Alchosting.ltd is a scam company, and all positive reviews are likely faked by them.
After paying them $765 for a promised server nothing was delivered, and upon complaining my account with them was suspended.
The following screenshots document my exchange with them chronologically:
Promise that server will be delivered within 1 hour:
https://i.imx.to/i/2019/05/28/221pks.jpg
1500 TB bandwidth offered for the same price as the originally-quoted 500 TB. That should've triggered my red flag.

Me paying for the server, taken before my account was suspended:

When I ask why isn't the server delivered on time they say it's "processing setup" and try to "sell" me a $49 backup addon:

Server supposedly being delivered and active:
https://i.imx.to/i/2019/05/28/221k4k.jpg
Scam email assuring the server is working to confuse unsuspecting customers:
https://i.imx.to/i/2019/05/28/221p0n.jpg
Evidence of my ticket being closed despite my complaint remaining unresolved:
https://i.imx.to/i/2019/05/28/221pcg.jpg
Evidence of my account being suspended after complaining:
https://i.imx.to/i/2019/05/28/221k4u.jpg
After suspending my account, they ask me to login to it in order to get a refund(!):
https://i.imx.to/i/2019/05/28/221pp5.JPG
Suggesting I ask coingate for a refund to further confuse me:
https://i.imx.to/i/2019/05/28/221p5s.JPG
(According to Coingate refunds can, of course, only be initiated by the merchant not the customer https://support.coingate.com/en/67/how-can-i-receive-a-refund-for-a-fully-paid-order-an-expired-order-a-partially-paid-underpaid-or-an-overpaid-order)
And finally no response to my 24-hour deadline for refunding:

As you may have noticed, the way the scam was done, including assuring me at first they could satisfy all my technically demanding requests for the cheapest price I could find anywhere, and then ignoring my tickets before closing them, and responding with confusing replies show they are professional scammers, and as long as they're online new victims will keep falling for this nonexistent hosting provider.
I may not be able to get my money back, but I'm posting this to warn others. If you have been scammed by ALC you should also send a complaint to their registrar abuse@namesilo.com, registry abuse@donuts.email, and host abuse@colocrossing.com so we can shut them down. I already did, and a couple more should do it.
Best regards.
