Freaking terrible!
Yahoo dumps the domain accounts section and informs customers that they've given the accounts to Aabaco.
Great! We've been with Yahoo since 1998-1999; mostly happy with only a few small glitches.
Tried to transfer the key administration ID over to Aabaco. Page one of their transfer process we hit a snag. Aabaco demands a mobile phone number for security verification.
Oops; we don't have a cell phone. Our land line doesn't do texts. No allowance to proceed using only a land phone line.
Call Aabaco, somewhere deep in the India continent. The wait isn't too bad this time; after the normal problems of conversing through their versions of English language and a significant amount of tedious time reaching the problem.
I state the problem, "no cell phone!"; I get their answer, use a friend's or relative's cell phone number. For security!? I should use someone else's phone? Want me to give them my credit cards too?? Plus all of my web security passwords?
I demand a supervisor... Several minutes on hold, someone gets on the line and claims he is a supervisor; oddly the voice and the name are the same. After I restate the problem which is after he promises me my problem would be resolved; he then tells me the same thing, "Use a friend's or relative's cell phone number".
Truly bad security policy!
Aabaco is NOT your friend and they're definitely not good business!
