NourNet is a Saudi digital infrastructure and managed ICT provider founded in 1998 by Amjad A. Hafez. The company began in Riyadh as a business Internet service provider supported by a small technical team and a 256 Kbps connection. It later developed into a large enterprise technology operation serving more than 1,500 corporate customers across over 30 Saudi cities and business locations.
NourNet was established as a wholly owned subsidiary of Nour Communications Co. A company managed by Investcorp (investcorp.com) acquired a majority interest in NourNet in October 2022, providing additional resources for service development, geographic expansion and potential acquisitions. The organization has since grown to more than 550 employees, while its operations remain strongly concentrated on the Saudi enterprise, government and regulated-business markets.
This is considerably more than a conventional web hosting company. NourNet combines shared web hosting, managed VPS, dedicated hosting, Saudi domain registration, cloud infrastructure, colocation, Internet connectivity, managed networks, cybersecurity, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity and fully managed IT operations. The broad portfolio gives businesses the option of placing infrastructure, connectivity, security and technical management under a single Saudi provider.
The standard web hosting range consists of Advanced Hosting and Premium Hosting. Advanced Hosting includes 10 GB of disk space, 60 GB of monthly traffic, capacity for approximately 10,000 monthly visits, 50 concurrent sessions, website backup, unlimited databases, technical support and management through cPanel or Plesk. Premium Hosting increases storage to 20 GB, monthly transfer to 120 GB, expected monthly visits to 20,000 and concurrent sessions to 80. It also includes website migration, backup, unlimited databases and technical support.
Both hosting packages support widely used content management systems such as WordPress, Joomla and Drupal. The allocations are more conservative than the supposedly unlimited resources common among budget hosting brands, but the service is aimed at businesses prioritizing Saudi infrastructure, managed security and access to local technical assistance.
NourNet also supplies shared hosting, dedicated hosting and managed virtual private servers as part of its wider managed web environment. Additional options include web-server administration, CMS maintenance, website updates, CDN integration, SSL certificates, firewall protection, backups and cPanel/WHM management. Dedicated server and VPS configurations are prepared according to the customerās technical, security and performance requirements rather than selected from a fixed public server catalog.
NourNet Cloud delivers locally hosted Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, Backup as a Service, Disaster Recovery as a Service, Email as a Service and web hosting. Customers can deploy Windows or Linux virtual machines, bare-metal systems, private cloud environments and hybrid infrastructure. Saudi data residency makes the local cloud particularly relevant to government entities, financial organizations, healthcare companies and businesses handling regulated or confidential information.
The company can integrate local infrastructure with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud (oracle.com). The cloud portfolio also covers Microsoft 365, Office 365, Exchange, Copilot, Azure infrastructure, AWS Direct Connect and Oracle solutions. This allows customers to combine international cloud platforms with Saudi hosting, private connectivity, backup and managed-security services.
Backup as a Service provides centralized backup, archiving and recovery for on-premises, cloud and hybrid systems. Disaster Recovery as a Service replicates applications and data into NourNet infrastructure, allowing critical systems to be activated from an alternative environment when the primary location becomes unavailable.
Email as a Service supplies managed Exchange functionality with Outlook and webmail access, mobile synchronization, anti-spam filtering, antivirus protection, backup and optional collaboration features. It is suitable for businesses that need managed corporate email without maintaining their own Exchange infrastructure.
The managed IT portfolio covers Windows, Linux and Oracle Solaris servers, databases, storage systems, backups, Microsoft Exchange, SAP Basis, monitoring and IT service management. NourNet can handle daily administration, system updates, capacity planning, operational monitoring, incident response and escalation for business-critical environments.
Managed network services include LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, network access control, SD-WAN, voice systems and connectivity monitoring. These services can be delivered as fully managed or co-managed environments, depending on how much operational control the customer wants to retain.
Connectivity remains one of NourNetās core strengths. Available services include dedicated Internet access, MPLS, private VPN networks, remote-access VPN, 4G and 5G connectivity, SD-WAN, private cloud connections, Microsoft ExpressRoute and AWS Direct Connect. Managed routers, firewalls, wireless equipment and network-operation-center supervision can be included within the same contract.
Cybersecurity coverage is extensive and includes SOC as a Service, threat intelligence, governance and compliance, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, red-team exercises, web application firewalls, DDoS protection, secure web gateways, endpoint security, digital forensics, SOAR, UEBA, mobile-device management, data-loss prevention and email security. Saudi Personal Data Protection Law consulting is also available for organizations that need assistance with privacy governance, data-processing procedures and regulatory compliance.
The collaboration portfolio covers IP telephony, audio and video conferencing, unified communications, meeting-room systems and digital-event management. Artificial intelligence and data analytics services include data strategy, machine-learning model development, predictive analytics, hosted dashboards, model monitoring and managed analytics platforms.
Saudi domain registration is available for .sa, .com.sa, .net.sa, .org.sa, .edu.sa, .sch.sa, .pub.sa, .med.sa and the Arabic .Ų§ŁŲ³Ų¹ŁŲÆŁŲ© extension. Registration normally requires documentation connecting the applicant to the requested domain. Eligible applicants include Saudi entities, Saudi citizens, Premium Residency holders, locally licensed organizations and owners of trademarks registered in Saudi Arabia.
Most commercial Saudi-domain applications can be completed within approximately 24 hours after the applicant passes administrative verification and payment is received. The service includes registration, transfer, renewal, nameserver management, account verification and document submission.
NourNet operates in Arabic and English, providing proper localization for Saudi customers and international organizations working within the Kingdom. Prices displayed for domain-related services use the Saudi riyal (SAR).
Account usage, personal information, cookies, IP logs, communications, security responsibilities and prohibited activities are covered by the Secure Usage and Privacy Policy. Malware distribution, spam, illegal activity, unauthorized access and violations of Saudi cybercrime legislation can result in account suspension or termination. Enterprise customers should obtain the complete service agreement, SLA exclusions, response commitments and service-credit conditions together with their quotation.
💰 Price & Cost
Most NourNet services use custom quotations. This includes web hosting, managed VPS, dedicated hosting, cloud infrastructure, colocation, disaster recovery, business continuity, managed IT operations, connectivity and cybersecurity. Even the Advanced and Premium hosting packages provide detailed resource allocations without a fixed recurring price.
This sales-led pricing model makes immediate comparison more difficult for small businesses seeking a basic hosting account or virtual server. It is more appropriate for enterprise customers that require customized resources, Saudi data residency, managed administration, security controls and contract-specific service levels.
Saudi domain registration has transparent pricing. A new Saudi domain costs SAR 99 per year, while a domain transfer or transfer subscription costs SAR 95 per year. Three-year registrations receive a 10% discount, five-year registrations receive a 15% discount, and ten-year registrations receive a 20% discount.
Domain prices exclude Saudi VAT and are charged in SAR. Supported payment options include Mada, MasterCard, SADAD and Visa. Customers can follow payments, invoices, renewals and active requests through the domain account, while automatic renewal is also supported.
🏢 Data Center
NourNet operates three carrier-neutral data centers in Riyadh and Dammam, providing a combined capacity of more than 500 racks. Available services include cloud hosting, shared and dedicated racks, private cages, dedicated infrastructure areas, colocation, disaster recovery, remote hands and business-continuity workspace.
The flagship facility north of Riyadh is Saudi Arabiaās first carrier-neutral Tier 3 / Rated-3 data center. It covers approximately 4,500 square meters, extends across three floors and can accommodate as many as 450 racks. Customers can select shared rack space, complete private racks, secure cages or isolated infrastructure areas.
The Riyadh facility holds ANSI/TIA-942-B:2017 Rated-3 certification and uses a concurrently maintainable design. Planned maintenance can therefore be performed without interrupting critical customer systems.
Additional certifications and operational frameworks include DCOS-3, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, CSA STAR Gold, PCI DSS, occupational-safety controls and TVRA compliance. The environment also supports requirements associated with the Saudi Central Bank, SAMA and the National Cybersecurity Authority.
Power capacity is approximately 10 MVA, delivered through two active electrical feeds. Battery systems can carry the complete facility load before generator activation, while an N+1 generator configuration can maintain operations for more than 48 hours. Redundant UPS and network systems further reduce the effect of individual component failures.
Cooling infrastructure uses raised floors, hot-aisle and cold-aisle rack arrangements, chilled-water systems, chillers and computer-room air handlers. The purpose-built structure incorporates insulated external walls and double-brick construction to improve physical protection and environmental stability.
Physical security includes biometric access, separated access permissions, 24-hour IP-camera coverage without blind spots and permanent on-site security personnel. Loading areas, parking and freight elevators capable of carrying more than 2,000 kg simplify the installation and replacement of heavy equipment.
Colocation customers receive continuous data and network availability, redundant power, access to the core MPLS network, remote-hands assistance and optional managed IT support. Remote-hands technicians can install equipment, connect cables, check inventory, reboot systems, cycle power, replace components, make configuration changes and perform physical inspections.
Business-continuity services provide alternative office space, connectivity, hardware, software, storage and cloud resources during a disaster or interruption at the customerās primary site. Hot seats and technical assistance can be combined with data replication and disaster-recovery services.
Web hosting includes a 99.9% uptime commitment. Cloud, colocation, connectivity and managed-service availability depend on the SLA included with each enterprise contract. Customers should confirm the guaranteed availability percentage, maintenance exclusions, response targets and service-credit calculation before placing critical workloads.
NourNet operates autonomous system AS29684, supporting both IPv4 and IPv6 routing. Upstream connectivity includes Saudi Telecom Company/STC (stc.com.sa), Salam (salam.sa) and Mobily (mobily.com.sa). The multi-carrier network supports its carrier-neutral infrastructure and reduces dependence on a single Saudi telecommunications operator.
✍️ Customer Support
NourNet provides 24/7 technical and operational support for hosting, cloud, data-center and managed-service customers. Cloud infrastructure, backup systems, disaster-recovery environments and managed networks can be monitored continuously, with escalation procedures and incident-response commitments established through the customerās SLA.
Technical support is included with the Advanced and Premium web hosting packages. Managed-service contracts can also cover proactive infrastructure monitoring, system administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, capacity planning and emergency response.
A dedicated complaint channel handles new project delivery, existing support cases, delayed technical resolutions, billing and invoicing concerns, account-management requirements and other service problems. Customers can include an existing ticket number, affected location and connection details when escalating an operational issue.
Regular office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Sunday through Thursday, while technical and data-center operations remain available outside normal business hours.
Technical support can be contacted through helpdesk@nour and MS-L1Support@nour. Telephone support is available through 920000987, 8001247879 extension 5 and +966 11 413 7800 extension 5. Privacy and secure-usage questions can be directed to marketing@nour.
🔨 Control Panel
The Advanced and Premium hosting packages support cPanel or Plesk. These control panels provide management for domains, files, databases, email accounts, backups and other standard hosting functions.
WordPress, Joomla and Drupal are supported, while the Premium package also includes website migration. Customers that do not want to administer the hosting environment themselves can use managed cPanel/WHM administration, server maintenance and CMS support.
Saudi domains are managed through a separate bilingual account interface. Customers can search for available names, register or transfer domains, enter registrant and administrative-contact details, upload eligibility documentation, complete OTP and email verification, pay registration or renewal charges, follow invoices and active requests, modify nameservers and renew domains.
Enterprise cloud and managed-service customers use tools suited to their particular infrastructure rather than one standardized public hosting dashboard. The level of access and responsibility depends on whether the service is self-managed, co-managed or fully managed by NourNet.
🎯 Conclusion
NourNet is best suited to organizations requiring Saudi hosting, local data residency, enterprise connectivity and managed infrastructure. Its combination of web hosting, cloud, colocation, cybersecurity, disaster recovery and managed IT services is considerably broader than the portfolio of a conventional hosting reseller. The strongest advantages are the three Saudi data centers, the certified Tier 3 facility, independent autonomous system, multi-carrier connectivity, extensive cybersecurity services and continuous managed operations. These capabilities are particularly valuable to government institutions, financial organizations, healthcare providers and larger companies operating under Saudi regulatory requirements.
Small businesses can use its web hosting and Saudi-domain services, although the limited public pricing and quotation-based ordering process are less convenient for buyers wanting immediate activation. Advanced users searching for publicly listed VPS configurations, fixed dedicated server models or simple month-to-month pricing may prefer a more automated provider.
