One day I found myidealhost.com using google and decided to move my website to them. Most likely it was lucky day because my website works perfectly since the migration was finished. I was hosting with another host before I came here. Sometimes, it took an average of 20 seconds for my pages to load with them. My users even came on my forum and started talking about how badly my site was running. I lost users despite having a decent portal. 😁 I've been using MyIdealHost.com for more than a year now to host several sites including one reseller account for a new venture, and I must say I have been very impressed by their service and support. The server has had very stable uptime, the features included in the hosting accounts are very powerful considering the cost, but most impressive has been their support. In particular, the response time for support requests has been very quick, especially considering that most companies don't even respond to support requests in the same day any more.

😠 After using them for some time, they proved to be the worst hosting provider ever, why? at a given point my website got hacked, I informed them, and what they did was to suspend my website, hosting, emails ftp access, everything, stating that they "informed" me about this a few hours before cancelling it. (they informed me through my suspended account which I couldn't access)
And then the story continued, as I had some sensitive data in there as well as the website which meanwhile we corrected and worked just fine. Then they said that the attack actuall crashed they're whole server which proves once more their "reliability".
If you want something cheap and smoetimes reliable and you're a sys admin yourself, might be a good business. However, the 1st time you'll get into some trouble you'll get suspended and don't even dream about refunds. (I asked them about refund and they replied offtopic); support replies in about ~2days, no chatting, no phone, and no replies in [read more...]
