📄 Editorial Review

Zomex is a UK-based web hosting and web services company operating since 2009, with a particularly strong focus on products and services created for the hosting industry itself. Its portfolio combines shared hosting, domain registration, SSL certificates, web design, WHMCS services, website maintenance, hosting-company acquisition assistance and specialized software for hosting providers.

The business operates through Gold Fusion Limited, company number 08042160, incorporated in England on April 23, 2012. The company is based in Ashford, Kent, while Jack Curtis serves as CEO and has been closely involved with Zomex's development, hosting, design and WHMCS-related services.

A major expansion of the product range took place in August 2026 with the introduction of WizardPanel, now one of the company's most important products. WizardPanel consolidates the type of hosting-oriented web design work Zomex has provided for many years into a more flexible framework available for both WordPress and WHMCS.

WizardPanel for WordPress provides ready-made designs, reusable shortcodes, multiple hosting-plan presentation styles, responsive layouts and a dedicated options panel. It is specifically built for hosting businesses and integrates with WHMCS, Blesta, Clientexec, WISECP, HostBill and FOSSBilling. Elementor and the native WordPress editor are supported, along with light and dark layouts, RTL presentation and multilingual functionality through Google Translate.

WizardPanel for WHMCS is designed for companies that prefer to operate their main website directly through WHMCS. Its Quick Setup system can work with products already configured in WHMCS, while multiple interactive hosting-page layouts allow companies to build pricing tables, feature comparisons, sliders and product presentations without maintaining a separate WordPress installation. Compatibility extends to WHMCS v9.

WizardPanel contains templates for shared hosting, reseller hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, cloud hosting, game servers and VPN services. These are website layouts for hosting companies rather than infrastructure products sold directly by Zomex. Their own hosting range is centered on shared web hosting.

The shared hosting service uses cPanel together with LiteSpeed Web Server. Accounts include free SSL, domain-based email, Softaculous, configurable PHP versions, daily off-site backups and free website migration. Backup restore points are retained for seven days.

Three principal shared hosting packages are available. Standard includes 2 GB storage, 100 GB bandwidth and support for five addon domains. Platinum increases these limits to 10 GB storage, 500 GB bandwidth and ten addon domains. Ultimate provides 20 GB storage, 1,000 GB bandwidth and unlimited addon domains. The storage allocations are relatively conservative compared with many unlimited-style hosting plans, but they are suitable for small business sites, portfolios, standard WordPress installations and similar projects that do not require large local storage capacity.

Domain Registration covers more than 300 domain extensions. Domain-management functionality includes nameserver configuration, A, CNAME, MX and TXT records, contact management, domain locking, authorization codes and forwarding. Free email forwarding is also available, and domains can be used either with Zomex hosting or external hosting services.

The SSL Certificates portfolio ranges from entry-level domain validation to wildcard, organization validation and extended validation products. RapidSSL provides a lower-cost option with 256-bit encryption, while RapidSSL Wildcard, QuickSSL Premium, True Business ID and EV-class certificates cover more demanding requirements. Standard Zomex hosting already includes free SSL, so the commercial certificate range is mainly useful when customers require wildcard coverage, stronger organizational validation or additional certificate-specific warranties.

Zomex has a particularly extensive WHMCS service portfolio. Installation, setup, configuration, template integration, updates, troubleshooting and security-related work are available for hosting businesses using WHMCS as their billing and automation platform.

Their own WHMCS modules include Affiliates Land Anywhere, Responsive Invoice Quote and SEO Enhancer. These are sold under one-time licensing rather than requiring a mandatory annual license fee for continued use, while future module updates remain available under the applicable product terms.

Flex Mail provides a responsive branded email design for WHMCS and WISECP. It includes reusable content sections, branded headers and footers, business information, navigation links, social links, unsubscribe and preference functionality, inbox preview text and browser-view support.

A separate Cookie Consent product is also available, together with installation and configuration services for customers who prefer Zomex to handle implementation.

Web Design remains an important part of the business. Custom projects can include responsive development, design revisions and complete integration with hosting-related systems. Depending on the package, a project can also include a domain, first-year hosting, SSL, professional email and setup. Pay-monthly arrangements are available for qualifying projects.

Website Maintenance covers both ongoing and one-time work such as content changes, WordPress maintenance, custom website changes, software updates, backups, security checks, troubleshooting and performance-related improvements.

The Hosting Company Acquisition service is unusual among smaller hosting providers. It is aimed at hosting-company owners who want to retire, reduce their workload or transfer day-to-day operations. Zomex can take responsibility for support, billing, administration, migrations and server management while the previous owner can continue receiving an agreed share of revenue under a partnership arrangement. Smaller customer portfolios can be transferred relatively quickly, while more complex migrations may require several months.

The company also operates an affiliate program. Web hosting generates recurring commission, while many other products and services use percentage-based commissions. Affiliate payouts become available once the required account balance has been reached.

The Zomex website operates primarily in English, while WizardPanel provides broader localization capabilities for hosting businesses serving international audiences. Product pricing is mainly displayed in US dollars.
