Vortechs Media was founded in 2012 by Kostadin Stojchev and Stole Kitanovikj, while Zemi.mk began operating as a licensed registrar for the national .mk and Cyrillic .мкд extensions in April 2015.

The company follows a focused local model, combining Macedonian domain registration, hosting, email, cloud storage and managed server services within one customer platform. Its relatively small team gives the business a more direct character, particularly for customers who prefer Macedonian-language assistance rather than dealing with a large international provider.
