xYnta is an independent Dutch hosting and infrastructure provider operated by xYnta Hosting B.V. from Zwijndrecht, Netherlands. The business was founded by Axel Polfliet on March 3, 2004, giving it more than two decades of experience in web hosting, managed servers and infrastructure administration. xYnta Hosting B.V. is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 64691675 and VAT number NL855782857B01. The company remains independently operated without outside investors, maintaining a relatively small technical team rather than a large corporate hosting structure.

xYnta expanded on January 28, 2025 through the acquisition of Hosting on Demand, a hosting provider from Alphen aan den Rijn. Its customers and services have since been integrated into the xYnta environment. The company now hosts thousands of websites and manages hundreds of servers, combining traditional web hosting with managed virtual infrastructure, email, DNS and system administration.

The portfolio includes Web Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Managed VPS, Email Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Domain Registration, Managed DNS, Microsoft 365, SSL Certificates, External Server Management, SLA services, migrations and custom infrastructure. Both Dutch and English website versions are available, making the service practical for domestic customers as well as international businesses. Pricing is primarily in euros.

The regular Web Hosting range consists of Spark, Blaze and Ignite. Spark includes 5 GB SSD storage, one website, 1 CPU and 1 GB RAM. Blaze increases this to 15 GB, three websites, 2 CPUs and 2 GB RAM, while Ignite provides 40 GB, ten websites, 4 CPUs and 4 GB RAM. Data transfer is unlimited. Hosting accounts operate with assigned CPU and memory resources, helping isolate customers from excessive resource consumption elsewhere on the shared platform.

The shared-hosting environment combines LiteSpeed WebServer, LiteSpeed Cache, Redis and Opcache with DirectAdmin. More than 150 applications can be installed through Installatron, while developer-oriented functions include SSH access, Composer, WP-CLI and Git. PHP versions from 5.6 through current PHP 8.x releases are supported, which is particularly useful for maintaining older applications while gradually migrating them to newer PHP branches. Wildcard Let's Encrypt SSL, IPv6, DNSSEC and HTTP/3 are included. Email accounts and forwarders are unlimited, Roundcube is available for webmail, and spam filtering is included. Daily backups are stored separately and retained for seven days.

WordPress Hosting receives substantially more application-specific resources. WP Spark includes 10 GB storage, 2 CPU cores and 2 GB RAM for one WordPress installation. WP Blaze provides 25 GB, 4 CPUs and 4 GB RAM for up to three sites, while WP Ignite reaches 50 GB, 8 CPUs and 8 GB RAM for up to ten sites. Traffic is unlimited across the range.

WordPress Hosting uses Plesk together with WordPress Toolkit and includes LiteSpeed, Redis, Opcache, WooCommerce support, SSH access, daily backups and automatic SSL. An AI Website Builder is also available. Migration and optimization assistance are part of the broader WordPress service, although extensive application repairs, custom development and larger website modifications fall under separately charged technical-support work rather than ordinary hosting support.

Managed VPS is one of xYnta's strongest products because system administration is integrated into the service rather than leaving customers with a completely unmanaged virtual machine. The current range begins with Flame at 1 CPU, 2 GB RAM and 50 GB SSD storage. Torch, Firestorm and Inferno provide progressively larger resource allocations, while Supernova reaches 8 CPUs, 32 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD storage. All packages include unlimited traffic, IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity, unlimited hosted websites and the Manage Core administration package.

AlmaLinux is included as the standard operating system, with CloudLinux available as an option. Apache/Nginx, PHP and MariaDB/MySQL form part of the normal server environment. Manage Core includes monthly system maintenance, basic 24/7 monitoring, daily backups with seven restore points, one hour of remote-hands work each month and access to the 24/7 emergency service. Manage Plus and Manage Pro increase the administration frequency, engineering allowance and backup-related services. DirectAdmin and Plesk are available as control-panel choices, with optional LiteSpeed, CloudLinux and expanded backup configurations.

Email Hosting can be purchased separately from web hosting. Note includes 5 GB and one mailbox, Flow offers 15 GB and five mailboxes, and Pulse provides 30 GB and ten mailboxes. IMAP, POP3 and SMTP are supported together with Roundcube, SSL/TLS, spam and virus filtering, aliases, forwarding and daily backups. This provides a conventional hosted-mail alternative for customers who do not require Microsoft 365.

Reseller Hosting uses DirectAdmin and creates separate hosting accounts for individual reseller customers. Seed includes 50 GB storage and ten client accounts, Branch provides 100 GB and 25 accounts, while Tree reaches 200 GB and 50 accounts. Traffic is unlimited. The reseller environment includes LiteSpeed, Redis, Opcache, multiple PHP versions, Installatron, Let's Encrypt and daily backups retained for seven days. The interface can operate white-label, while xYnta supports the reseller rather than providing direct support to each reseller end customer.

Domain Registration covers more than 500 extensions and includes DNS management and forwarding. Customers can combine registrations with Managed DNS, which uses geographically distributed name servers, IPv6 and DNSSEC. Common A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT and SRV records can be managed, and the DNS platform includes reusable templates, zone duplication, historical changes, restoration of previous configurations and API-based automation.

Microsoft 365 is available as an additional service for customers who already use an xYnta domain, hosting package or server. Exchange Online 1 provides a 50 GB mailbox. Business Basic adds 1 TB OneDrive storage, browser-based Office applications, Teams and SharePoint, while Business Standard also includes the desktop Office applications. Microsoft Copilot can be added separately.

Free Let's Encrypt SSL is included with normal hosting, while paid SSL options cover standard Domain, Wildcard and Extended certificates. Certificate validation, installation and renewal can be handled by xYnta.

Customers requiring infrastructure outside the standard hosting packages can use Custom Hosting for high-traffic websites, SaaS platforms, failover configurations, VPN-connected environments, load balancing, off-site backups and other tailored deployments.

External Server Management extends xYnta's administration services to systems hosted with another infrastructure provider. Remote Core, Remote Plus and Remote Pro combine server maintenance, monitoring, firewall and WAF work, backups, engineering time and emergency support. This allows xYnta to function as the system-management provider even when the underlying server remains elsewhere.

The service environment continued evolving during 2026. Helios monitoring was introduced near the beginning of the year, a redesigned bilingual website followed in April, and Orbit has been developed as the successor to the older Mijn xYnta customer-management environment. The company blog has also remained active through July 2026 rather than being abandoned for several years.
