XMundo Networks is an Argentine web hosting provider founded in 2001 and operated under the business name XMundo de Cristian Daniel Merz. The company is based in Villa Carlos Paz, Córdoba, and focuses mainly on individuals, small businesses, developers, agencies and hosting resellers requiring Spanish-language service and locally accessible payment methods.

Its main portfolio includes Shared Hosting, Premium Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Domain Registration, Email Marketing and SSL Certificates. Earlier company documentation also includes VPS services, although VPS packages are no longer part of the main product catalog and no current configurations or prices are available. Dedicated servers, colocation and modern public-cloud products are not part of the regular offering.

The standard shared hosting range consists of the Lite, Start and Basic plans. These packages are intended for a single website and provide between 50 GB and 200 GB of storage, email hosting, domain aliases, MySQL databases, FTP access, traffic statistics and an included SSL certificate.

Lite includes five email accounts, one database and 100 GB of monthly transfer. Start and Basic increase the available storage, database capacity and email limits, while also including unlimited traffic. The plans provide enough resources for personal websites, company pages, blogs and ordinary content-management systems, although customers running resource-intensive applications should confirm the applicable CPU, memory and process limits before ordering.

The Premium Hosting range is designed for customers managing several domains under one account. The Plus, Ultra and Max packages support five, ten or unlimited domains respectively, with 200 GB to 300 GB of storage, unlimited transfer, unlimited email accounts, unlimited databases and higher file-count allowances. SSL certificates are included throughout this range.

For agencies and hosting entrepreneurs, Reseller Hosting is available through the rev Mini, rev Start, rev Basic and rev Plus packages. These plans support between 8 and 100 individual websites and include cPanel/WHM, unlimited transfer, unlimited email accounts and unlimited databases. Private DNS is also available. Resellers requiring branded nameservers need an international domain and two dedicated IP addresses.

The Domain Registration service covers a broad selection of international extensions, including .com, .net, .org, .tv, .us, .biz, .info, .eu, .me, .co, .asia, .de, .ca, .uk and .ru, together with numerous second-level country extensions. Argentine .ar domains can be connected to XMundo hosting, while registration and administrative procedures remain subject to NIC Argentina requirements.

The Email Marketing platform supports campaigns ranging from 1,000 to 100,000 emails. It includes contact-list administration, subscriber segmentation, a visual editor, reusable templates, bounce processing, scheduled delivery, real-time statistics, subscription forms and API access. SPF activation is available without an additional charge, while DKIM configuration has historically involved a one-time setup cost.

XMundo also supplies SSL Certificates, including Comodo PositiveSSL certificates with 256-bit encryption, broad browser compatibility and a website security seal. Shared and premium hosting plans already include SSL, so a separate certificate is generally unnecessary for an ordinary website hosted within these packages.

The Exiles Program provides a practical migration incentive for customers transferring an active hosting account from another provider. Eligible customers receive free hosting for the unused portion of their previous contract. File transfers, database migration and DNS changes can also be handled without an additional migration fee.

A separate referral program provides account credit to both the existing customer and the newly referred customer. These incentives make XMundo particularly practical for local customers moving an established website or recommending the service to business contacts.

The service is primarily tailored to the Argentine market. The website and customer documentation are in Spanish, while prices are mainly expressed in Argentine pesos and include VAT. The newer ordering interface has also used U.S. dollar pricing, so the final currency, billing cycle and total should be checked carefully during checkout.

The website retains an older visual style, and portions of the support library contain instructions for legacy software and devices. References to PHP 5.3, MySQL 5.x, Apache 2.2, Outlook Express, BlackBerry, Google+ and Parallels Pro/Ensim remain available. These legacy articles are useful for older accounts, but they do not reliably represent the software versions currently running on production servers.

Customers planning to host a modern WordPress, Joomla, Drupal or custom PHP application should confirm the supported PHP branches, MariaDB or MySQL versions, storage technology, backup schedule, malware protection and server resource limits before committing to a long billing term.
