XetNET is a Finnish hosting provider operated under Xetpoint Oy, Business ID 1778444-6. Founder Erno Räsänen established Xetpoint in 2002, with the company incorporated on September 3, 2002. The business is based in Lempäälä, Pirkanmaa, and has maintained a strong focus on Finnish hosting infrastructure, local customer service and domestic data residency for more than two decades.

XetNET has developed into a broad hosting and cloud-services provider rather than remaining limited to traditional shared hosting. Its portfolio includes shared hosting, WordPress hosting, VPS, Docker hosting, dedicated servers, cloud storage, business email, domain registration, DNS, SSL, website builders, spam filtering and authenticated SMTP services.

The company remains relatively small compared with Finland's major telecom and cloud operators, but its financial profile is stable. Xetpoint Oy generated approximately €877,000 in revenue during 2025, representing growth of around 19.6%, with operating profit of approximately €34,000 and a 53% equity ratio. The main shared-hosting range consists of Webhotelli Pro, Webhotelli Forte, Webhotelli Jätti and Webhotelli Skala. These services operate from Finland and use cPanel, LiteSpeed, SSL certificates, daily backups and automated application-installation tools.

Webhotelli Pro is the conventional entry-level hosting family. The smallest Pro 300M package includes 300 MB SSD storage, three email accounts, 50 GB monthly traffic and one MySQL database. Larger plans increase capacity through 512 MB, 1 GB, 3 GB, 6 GB and finally 25 GB of storage, together with larger email, database and traffic limits.

Forte configurations range from one CPU with 512 MB RAM up to four CPUs with 4 GB RAM. Storage capacities run from 5 GB to 30 GB, while larger packages also permit more simultaneous processes.

Forte Plus adds managed WordPress maintenance. This includes 24/7 WordPress monitoring, controlled WordPress core updates, plugin and theme updates, and corrective assistance when an update causes a website malfunction. It is a useful option for businesses that prefer to outsource routine WordPress maintenance while keeping their site hosted in Finland.

XetNET also provides Docker hosting for containerized applications. Instead of relying on a conventional cPanel environment, applications can run in separate containers with independently scalable web, database and supporting services. Container resources can be adjusted vertically or horizontally according to workload. A €10 + VAT trial option is available for testing the environment.

The VPS portfolio includes configurable Bespoke VPS plans and fixed Enterprise VPS packages. Bespoke VPS Starter can be configured from 500 to 10,000 MHz CPU capacity, 512 MB to 4 GB RAM and 5 GB to 500 GB SSD storage, together with one public IPv4 address.

The cloud portfolio includes SafeCloud, a Finnish file-storage and synchronization service. Files, photographs, documents, contacts and calendars can be stored on servers in Finland and synchronized across Windows, macOS, Linux, iPhone, iPad and Android devices. Browser access is also supported.

XetNET Yritysposti provides business email and collaboration tools, including mail, shared calendars, contacts, tasks and file sharing. The service supports ActiveSync, IMAP and POP3 and can be used with Outlook, Apple applications, Thunderbird and mobile devices. A standard mailbox includes 10 GB of capacity, and the service runs on Finnish servers.

A separate spam-filtering service is available for customers requiring additional mail protection. Filtering takes place on XetNET infrastructure in Finland and can be combined with an outgoing SmartHost relay and email archiving. Authenticated SMTP is also available as a separate service for businesses needing reliable outbound mail delivery.

XetNET is an official .fi domain registrar/intermediary and provides registration for Finnish and international domain extensions. DNS services are distributed across separate networks and autonomous systems. Customers using only domain registration can manage DNS through the customer portal, while hosting customers manage their DNS records through their hosting environment.

Every shared-hosting package also includes WebbiVelho and SiteJet website-building tools. WebbiVelho provides around 190 design templates, responsive layouts, drag-and-drop editing and support for multilingual websites. These tools give small organizations a simpler alternative to WordPress when a conventional CMS is unnecessary.

Website and email migration from another provider is available without charge for ordinary migrations. Larger transfers involving numerous hosting accounts or large numbers of mailboxes can require individually agreed migration work.
