😠 I started regretting the time I upgraded
Ever since, I upgraded, bad things keep happening. Now after referring some friends, the have suspended my account. They have no support team at all. I think their licenses should be revoked ASAP and I will try my best to contact every responsible organization.

😠 Just as the top commentor said this is DATA THEFT trap and not a legit hosting,.
Do not ssh , do not ftp or login there.
They will usually disable your account within 24 hours of registration and ask you to ssh... They will steal your email/pass and you anything upload.
STAY AWAY and warn everyone

😠 Bad news... I paid faithfully... no support plus someone tries to login to your site... poor security... no cpanel as stated when purchased- they can go in your backend and steal info... nothing is free - you will pay a heavy price in the end... trust is everything... SCAM

(3*) 🔧 Services: Web HostingDomain Registration⇔ Redirected domains: x10host.info x10vps.com x10premium.com
x10Hosting is one of those long-running brands that still feels built around a very specific idea: make web hosting accessible first, then upsell only when a site genuinely outgrows the free tier. The company traces its start to 2004, operates as x10Hosting, LLC, and keeps a fairly simple English-language storefront with pricing shown in U.S. dollars. The overall lineup is narrower than a modern "everything cloud" provider, but it is coherent: free shared hosting, paid shared hosting, a stronger Infinity+ semi-dedicated layer, unmanaged VPS, light domain handling, SSL, website builder tools, and a contact-led path into dedicated servers.
The free side remains the main entry point. Their x10 Basic plan uses DirectAdmin, starts with 2 databases, 3 email accounts, 500 MB initial disk quota, and 3 domains, and is positioned as an always-free starting plan. It also includes the parts beginners actually need: FTP access, PHP/MyAdmin-style database handling, email setup, domain management, a site builder, WordPress-friendly setup, and hundreds of one-click installs. That makes it more usable than the typical "free hosting" offer that looks generous until the control panel and tooling are stripped down.x10premium.com
The paid side is where the service becomes much more practical for real projects. x10Premium Infinity / x10premium.com is a classic unlimited-style shared plan with unlimited domains, storage, bandwidth, email, FTP, and databases, plus cPanel, Softaculous, Acronis daily backups, PHP 7/8 support, MySQL, Perl, Python, and a built-in site builder. Above that, Infinity+ acts as their semi-dedicated bridge between ordinary shared hosting and a dedicated server. It adds clearer resource allocation, lower customer density, extra monitoring, dedicated IP/SSL options, and a more performance-oriented stack built on OnApp, CloudLinux, Apache, Varnish, and LiteSpeed’s PHP SAPI.
The VPS side is much more technical and much less polished for beginners. x10VPS / x10vps.com is sold as an unmanaged service with full root access, SSD-backed plans, daily backups, and a simple upgrade path between packages. That keeps prices low, but it also means customers are expected to know what they are doing. The website still leans on OpenVZ and older Linux-era terminology, so this part of the portfolio feels more budget infrastructure than modern premium cloud VPS. It is workable for experienced users who want inexpensive Linux virtualization, but it is not the most forward-looking VPS offer on the market. x10vps.com is basically inactive.
One thing they do well is the upgrade path. Someone can start with free hosting, move into Infinity shared hosting, step into Infinity+, and eventually ask for a dedicated server without changing provider family. That continuity is probably the biggest practical advantage of the brand.
💰 Price & Cost
The pricing structure is easy to understand. The free tier costs nothing, but it comes with meaningful operational limits. Free accounts are not meant for backup storage, proxies, bots, content scrapers, auto-generated sites, or large file hosting. They also have activity rules: an account must show progress quickly, the owner must log in regularly, and inactive accounts can be suspended and later removed. That makes the free service good for learning, testing, hobby sites, and light personal projects, but not for anything critical.
x10Premium Infinity starts at $6.95 per month, drops to $5.95/month on a 1-year term, $4.95/month on 2 years, and $3.95/month on 3 years. The longer plans are the value point because the 2-year and 3-year terms include a free domain, free SSL certificate, and free dedicated IP. If someone buys add-ons separately, the order page shows GlobalSign AlphaSSL at $9.95/year and a dedicated IP at $1/month. The checkout also states no taxes, no setup fees, and no hidden fees.
Infinity+ starts at $19.95/month for the first semi-dedicated tier, then moves to $34.95/month and $59.95/month for larger packages. Public specs focus on CPU cores, memory, process limits, and inode ceilings rather than "unlimited everything," which is the right approach for higher-traffic sites. A dedicated server entry point is also shown from $129.95/month, but this looks more like a sales-contact offer than a detailed self-service catalog.
For VPS, pricing begins at $8.95/month for the smallest unmanaged plan and climbs to $47.95/month for the top listed package. The published ladder is very budget-oriented: entry plans are small but cheap, while the larger plans add more SSD space, RAM, bandwidth, uplink speed, and extra IPv4 addresses.
Payment handling is mixed by product. On the premium shared side, the order page clearly accepts PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. On the VPS side, they say they accept major credit cards and PayPal, with Western Union and check payment possible for annual service by arrangement. All paid services are billed in USD.
The refund position is stricter than the marketing tone might suggest. They do not run a broad, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee across the paid lineup. Instead, prorated refunds if they cancel a service themselves, while prepaid monthly and yearly fees are generally non-refundable. Cancellations need to be submitted at least 24 hours before renewal. In practice, that means buyers should view the paid plans as low-cost, but not risk-free.
🏢 Data Center
The infrastructure story is strongest on the VPS side, where the details are more concrete.
Their VPS service is in the DuPont Fabros CH1 facility in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, in the broader Chicago market. It as a tier-3 environment with N+2 redundancy, and the network nLayer and AboveNet as bandwidth providers. That is more specific than many budget hosts provide, and it gives a reasonable picture of where the VPS platform lives and how traffic is carried.
Across the broader brand, they offer enterprise hardware, premium networks, 100% SSD storage, and a private cloud approach. The premium shared and Infinity+ services are built on an OnApp private hardware cloud, with CloudLinux, Apache, Varnish, and LiteSpeed PHP acceleration. VPS storage is having SSD RAID protection, and mirrored arrays / RAID-10 style protection depending on the section.
Backups are taken seriously. Premium shared hosting uses Acronis for automated backups, while Infinity+ and VPS reference R1Soft backup systems with multiple daily snapshots. The VPS has 10-day retention policy, which is useful, although they still make it clear that customers should keep their own backups as well.
The paid services carry a 99.9% uptime SLA. Both premium shared hosting and VPS publish the same credit ladder: 10% credit for uptime between 99.1% and 99.8%, 25% for 98% to 99%, 50% for 95% to 97.9%, and 100% credit when uptime falls below 94.9% in the month. The free hosting side does not come with the same kind of guarantee, which is exactly what a serious buyer should expect.
A useful extra on VPS is the security posture around noisy neighbors and attacks. They have automated abuse protection, proactive node monitoring, and a Cisco Guard hardware firewall response when attacks are detected. That sounds better than the low entry price would suggest, although the rest of the VPS stack still feels technically old-fashioned.
✍️ Customer Support
Support is split very clearly by service tier. For free hosting, support is mostly self-service and community-driven. They point users toward the forum and Discord, and the contact page explicitly says free-hosting support is limited. That keeps the free offer sustainable, but it also means response quality depends a lot on volunteers, moderators, and how busy the community is. Anyone launching a business site should not expect concierge handling here.
For paid shared hosting, support is much better. The premium promise a 24/7 dedicated support team, and the shared hosting 24x7x365 access. They also offer ticket/helpdesk workflow, which is the right support model for hosting. The team is 100% in-house and English-speaking.
For VPS, support exists, but the scope is intentionally limited because the service is unmanaged. They will handle billing, backup-archive questions, and network connectivity issues, but software installation, server tuning, and operating system troubleshooting are left to the customer. That distinction matters. Buyers who need hand-holding should stay with shared hosting or look elsewhere for managed VPS.
Contact information is easy to find. They uses a mailing address in Tilton, New Hampshire, a U.S. phone number, general support email, and a separate abuse email. That gives the company a more concrete presence than anonymous low-end hosts that hide behind a contact form.
🔨 Control Panel
Control panel choices are one of the more useful parts of the x10Hosting ecosystem because they match the service tiers fairly well.
The free platform uses DirectAdmin, and they also provide a simplified in-house layer called x10Hosting Basic for less technical users. That is a sensible combination for free hosting: DirectAdmin keeps the backend familiar, while the in-house layer lowers the barrier for first-time users.
The paid shared plans use cPanel, which is still the standard control panel many customers want. Premium shared also includes Softaculous for one-click installs and a built-in SiteBuilder, so it feels like a conventional commercial shared-hosting package rather than a stripped-down upgrade from free hosting.
Infinity+ also sits on top of cPanel, but with more performance tuning and stronger resource controls. That gives growing sites a familiar interface without forcing an immediate jump into full VPS administration.
The VPS range is different again. It includes full root access plus a VPS control panel for things like reverse DNS management. That is enough for self-managed infrastructure customers, but there is no sign of a beginner-oriented managed layer on the public unmanaged VPS pages.
No public Windows hosting catalog, everything is essentially Linux-oriented.
🎯 Conclusion
x10Hosting still makes the most sense for two audiences: people who want a genuinely usable free hosting platform, and people who want a cheap upgrade path into paid shared hosting without leaving the same brand family.Their strongest points are the long market presence, the practical ladder from free to paid hosting, the familiar control panels, and the fact that the paid plans are still inexpensive for what they include. Infinity is the cleanest offer in the lineup: low entry price, cPanel, daily backups, unlimited-style hosting allowances, and real 24/7 support. Infinity+ is also a respectable option for sites that need more breathing room without stepping fully into server administration.
The weak side is modernity. The hole business is very weak and poorly managed even on paid side x10vps.com / x10premium.com. The free service is heavily rule-based and community-supported, which is normal for free hosting but still a real limitation. The VPS platform is inexpensive, but the public technical language makes it feel dated compared with today’s more modern KVM/cloud VPS competitors. The policies are also stricter than the promotional copy first suggests, especially around refunds and cancellations.
Overall, x10Hosting is still easy to recommend for learning, personal projects, side sites, and budget-conscious shared hosting customers. For production VPS workloads or businesses that want the newest virtualization stack, broader datacenter choice, or fully managed infrastructure, there are stronger modern alternatives.
