WireNet Chile is a Chilean web hosting and infrastructure provider operating since 2002, with headquarters and its own datacenter in Santiago, Chile. The business operates legally as WireNet Chile Ltda., RUT 76.245.800-4, and has developed from an early hosting reseller into a provider controlling its own servers, network and physical infrastructure. Its datacenter operation is associated with Chilecom Datacenter, giving the company considerably more control over service delivery than a conventional hosting reseller.

The company works primarily with Chilean customers and operates in Spanish, with pricing in Chilean pesos (CLP). There is no complete English-language version of the service.

Its product range covers Linux Web Hosting, Windows Web Hosting, Linux VPS, Windows VPS, Linux Dedicated Servers, Windows Dedicated Servers, server administration, domain registration, software licenses and colocation/housing services. This combination makes WireNet suitable for small websites as well as agencies, business applications and customers needing private server infrastructure hosted locally in Chile.

Linux Web Hosting uses cPanel together with CloudLinux, LiteSpeed, Imunify360 and NVMe storage. Six hosting levels are available: Básico, Intermedio, Pyme, Profesional, Empresa and Full, ranging from 2 GB to 100 GB of disk space. Larger plans increase the number of email accounts, MySQL databases and additional domains, with the Full package supporting unlimited email accounts, 50 MySQL databases and 20 additional domains.

The Linux hosting environment includes Let's Encrypt SSL, Softaculous, WordPress Toolkit, SitePad, multiple PHP versions, Node.js, Python and Ruby support, MagicSpam and assisted cPanel migration. Backup protection is stronger than the basic hosting package alone would suggest, combining daily, weekly and monthly local backups with JetBackup remote copies retained for 21 days.

CloudLinux controls resource consumption between shared accounts and provides better isolation when one website becomes busy or poorly optimized. Hosting accounts receive defined memory, process and entry-process allocations rather than depending on vague unlimited-resource claims. Customers running resource-intensive WordPress, WooCommerce or custom applications can move to VPS service without leaving the same provider.

Windows Web Hosting is available in another six-package range, from Básico ASP to Full ASP. The platform uses Plesk, Windows Server and IIS and supports ASP, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Microsoft Web Deploy, MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server. Storage again ranges from 2 GB to 100 GB, while higher packages allow additional domains and multiple Microsoft SQL Server databases.

The Windows environment includes SSL certificates, firewall protection, antivirus, ModSecurity for IIS, SpamAssassin and WordPress Toolkit. This remains useful for businesses with Microsoft-based applications that cannot easily be moved to conventional Linux hosting.

Linux VPS is offered in three NVMe configurations. The Basic VPS includes 2 vCPU, 2 GB RAM and 100 GB NVMe storage. Medium increases this to 4 vCPU and 4 GB RAM, while Top provides 8 vCPU, 8 GB RAM and 200 GB NVMe. Each VPS includes a dedicated fixed IP address, unrestricted traffic, root access and Xen virtualization. AlmaLinux, Debian and Ubuntu are available among the operating-system choices.

Linux VPS systems are unmanaged by default, making them most suitable for customers comfortable administering Linux themselves. Customers requiring operating-system maintenance, updates, monitoring and security assistance can add WireNet's management service separately.

Windows VPS follows the same general hardware structure while adding licensed Windows Server and Administrator access through RDP. Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and 2025 are available, together with Windows 11 Pro for suitable deployments. Plesk can be licensed separately, while Microsoft SQL Server and Remote Desktop CAL licensing can be added for business applications.

Current VPS specifications contain a connectivity inconsistency that is worth confirming before purchase. The principal VPS specifications use 1 Gbps national and 20 Mbps international connectivity, while some individual VPS configurations have listed 100 Mbps dedicated international connectivity. Customers running applications with substantial international traffic should have the exact bandwidth profile confirmed as part of the order.

Linux Dedicated Servers use Intel Core i7 and Intel Xeon processors. Available configurations begin with an Intel i7 system containing 8 GB RAM and two 250 GB SSDs and extend to dual-Xeon servers with 48 GB RAM and two 2 TB SSDs. RAID 1 can be used for disk redundancy, while customers receive full root access to the operating system.

Windows Dedicated Servers use similar hardware configurations with licensed Windows Server. They are appropriate for applications based on Microsoft SQL Server, ERP software, .NET workloads, Remote Desktop services and other Windows-specific environments. Plesk, SQL Server Web Edition and Remote Desktop licensing can be added when required.

Dedicated servers and VPS systems are normally supplied unmanaged. WireNet therefore also provides a separate Server Management service for cPanel and Plesk servers. Management includes system setup, monitoring, maintenance and technical intervention, with four technical hours included each month. Critical incidents on managed infrastructure can receive assistance outside standard office hours.

The Software Licenses catalog includes cPanel, Plesk, CloudLinux, Imunify360, ImunifyAV+, Softaculous and JetBackup, together with Microsoft SQL Server and Windows Server Remote Desktop licensing. These products are designed mainly for customers already operating a WireNet VPS or dedicated server.

Domain Registration is available for international extensions such as .com, .net, .org, .info and .biz. Chilean .CL registrations are handled through NIC Chile and can then be connected to hosting or server services at WireNet.
