Webware is a Maltese web hosting and domain provider established in 2004, giving the company more than two decades of experience in the local hosting market. Based in Attard, Malta, they concentrate primarily on Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Domain Registration, SSL Certificates, Email Hosting features and Website Design. Website and domain transfers are also supported, including migration assistance for customers moving from another provider.

Their hosting range is compact and focused on traditional cPanel hosting rather than VPS, cloud or dedicated-server infrastructure. The current product lineup centers on three shared hosting packages — Webware Economy, Webware Unlimited and Webware Business — together with a separate reseller package. This makes Webware better suited to conventional websites, WordPress installations, PHP applications, business email and smaller hosting-reseller operations than to customers requiring root-level virtual or physical servers.

Webware Economy is the entry-level single-domain package. It includes unlimited storage, unlimited data traffic, unlimited email accounts and unlimited FTP access. The account uses a shared IP address and does not include a dedicated SSL product as part of the standard package.

Webware Unlimited removes the single-domain limitation and supports unlimited hosted domains, storage, traffic, email accounts and FTP accounts. A free SSL certificate is included, while the account continues to use a shared IP address. This is the more practical shared package for customers maintaining several websites under one hosting account.

Webware Business keeps the unlimited-domain, storage, transfer, email and FTP structure while adding a private SSL certificate and private IP address. It is aimed at business users needing a more isolated hosting configuration and is sold on annual and two-year billing terms.

Unlimited resources remain subject to acceptable-use restrictions. Shared accounts cannot be used primarily as file repositories, torrent platforms or large media-storage and distribution services. Excessive CPU, memory and other system-resource consumption can also result in restrictions. Accounts consuming 10% or more of system resources may be treated as excessive, while separate traffic rules include a 20% resource-related threshold.

Email accounts are unlimited in number, but the shared platform is not intended as permanent high-volume email archival storage. Messages older than one year can be removed and mailboxes exceeding 1 GB can be truncated. Sending approximately 1,000 or more messages per day also falls outside normal shared-hosting usage, so customers with large mail archives or bulk-email workloads need a more suitable arrangement.

Reseller Hosting uses WHM and allows customers to create individual cPanel hosting accounts for their own clients. The Starter reseller package includes 10 GB storage, 100 GB monthly traffic, unlimited hosted websites, unlimited email accounts and unlimited FTP accounts. Each hosted customer receives a separate control panel, while the reseller can apply its own branding. Additional resources are available in increments of 10 GB storage and 100 GB bandwidth.

Domain registration remains an important part of Webware's services. Maltese extensions include .mt, .com.mt, .edu.mt and .org.mt, while their ordering system also handles a broad selection of international extensions including .com, .net, .org, .eu, .co.uk, .info, .me, .us, .mobi, .co, .it, .tv, .es, .nl, .biz, .fr, .de, .at, .com.au, .online, .store and .website. Existing domains can also be transferred.

SSL certificates are sold separately. Available options include SSL Essential for a single website and SSL Multi Domain with two SANs. Unlimited Hosting includes a free SSL certificate, while Business Hosting includes a private SSL certificate.

WordPress works on the standard hosting platform without requiring a separate WordPress-specific package. Softaculous, PHP, MySQL, Webmail and WordPress installation are integrated into the hosting environment, making the service suitable for conventional WordPress sites and PHP/MySQL applications.

Backup protection includes weekly full website backups together with nightly backups of new or changed data. Customers can also generate their own backups through cPanel and download them locally. Server-side backup routines are mainly intended for recovery purposes, so maintaining independent copies of important website and email data remains sensible.

The website has an older design and several elements belong to an earlier generation of hosting storefronts. Some package-price widgets on the main website do not match the active ordering system, and the front page still contains a "from €2.75/mth" message while the live Economy Hosting checkout starts at €7.95 per month. The ordering system therefore provides the more relevant pricing when calculating the current cost.

The main website is available in English, while the customer account and ordering interface supports English and Spanish. Hosting and related service prices are offered in EUR.
