Websupport Hungary, operated by Websupport Magyarország Kft., is an established Hungarian domain, web hosting, email and cloud-infrastructure provider with local roots going back to 2006. The Hungarian business originally operated as Lanten Bt., later became Gyümölcstárhely, adopted the Webonic brand in 2016 and became Websupport in 2021. The Hungarian operation is now part of the wider Websupport organization and ultimately the team.blue group.

The company has grown well beyond conventional shared hosting. Its current portfolio includes domain registration, shared hosting, WordPress hosting, Business Mail, Website Builder, SSL certificates, VPS, Virtual Data Center, dedicated servers, storage, server management and monitoring. This makes Websupport suitable both for individuals running smaller websites and for businesses that may later need more advanced virtual or dedicated infrastructure.

Domain registration covers hundreds of extensions, including the most relevant options for Hungarian customers such as .HU, .EU and .COM. DNS management, DNSSEC, automatic renewals and URL forwarding are integrated into the same administration environment used for hosting and billing.

The shared hosting range is organized into Simple, Smart and Super packages. Simple starts with 1 GB SSD storage and support for one hosted domain, Smart increases this to 20 GB and three domains, while Super provides 100 GB and ten domains. Higher limits are available as packages are expanded. Email accounts, FTP access, databases and free Let's Encrypt SSL are included according to plan limits.

The hosting platform supports modern PHP versions, HTTP/2, HTTP/3, TLS 1.3, Brotli compression and SSD storage. Security features include two-factor authentication, automated backups and malware protection. Popular applications such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla and PrestaShop can be installed directly from the administration interface.

SSL requirements can be handled either through free Let's Encrypt certificates or paid Standard and Wildcard certificates. Extended PHP Support is also available for applications that still depend on older PHP branches.

The infrastructure portfolio is considerably broader than that of a typical shared-hosting provider. VPS plans use SSD storage and can be configured with different CPU, RAM and disk resources. Linux templates include Ubuntu and Debian releases together with preconfigured LAMP and LEMP environments. High-availability functionality can migrate virtual machines between physical hosts when necessary.
