📄 Editorial Review

WebSouls is one of Pakistan's long-established web hosting companies, operating since 2002 as part of the FutureSouls Group of Companies. The business was founded by Muhammad Aslam Saqib, who remains associated with the company as founder and director. WebSouls is headquartered in Lahore, maintains another office in Karachi, and also has a UK presence through WebSouls Ltd. in Slough.

More than two decades of operation have turned WebSouls into a broad hosting and Internet-services provider rather than a company focused only on entry-level shared hosting. Its portfolio covers Shared Hosting, Business Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Cloud VPS, Pakistan VPS, Dedicated Servers, Domain Registration and Transfers, SSL Certificates, Website Migration, Web Development and SEO. The range works well for everything from small personal websites to agencies, online businesses and customers that need their own virtual or dedicated server.

The standard Web Hosting range is divided into Startup, Grow, Digital and Business plans. Startup includes 50 GB SSD storage and support for up to five websites, while Grow increases the allocation to 100 GB NVMe storage and supports considerably more sites. Digital and Business add stronger CPU and memory allocations together with developer-oriented features such as SSH access and Node.js support. Hosting accounts include unlimited bandwidth, email accounts, regular backups, malware scanning, Let's Encrypt SSL, free website migration, WHOIS privacy and one-click application installation.

Performance is based on a combination of NVMe storage, LiteSpeed Web Server, LSCache, optimized MySQL and hardened PHP, with dedicated CPU and RAM allocations depending on the plan. This is a much more modern environment than the older generation of conventional shared-hosting platforms and is especially useful for WordPress and other database-driven websites.

WordPress Hosting follows a similar multi-tier structure and combines one-click WordPress deployment with cPanel, backups, SSL certificates, malware protection and migration assistance. Higher plans add NVMe storage, increased resources, SSH access, Node.js and the AI website builder. A 7-day free trial is available, making it possible to test the service before committing to a longer billing period.

For agencies and hosting resellers, Reseller Hosting provides white-label hosting with WHM and cPanel account management. Packages range from smaller reseller environments to configurations supporting up to 100 cPanel/WHM accounts. Features include one-click applications, email hosting, malware protection, free migration and WHMCS compatibility. Both cPanel and Plesk environments are available across relevant reseller configurations.

The VPS portfolio is split between international cloud infrastructure and locally hosted Pakistani servers. Cloud VPS configurations begin with 2 vCores, 4 GB DDR5 RAM, 40 GB NVMe storage and 20 TB bandwidth, scaling to substantially larger systems with up to 16 vCores, 32 GB RAM and 320 GB NVMe storage. Linux is available throughout the range, while larger configurations can also run Windows. A control panel is included, while cPanel can be added separately when required.

The separate Pakistan VPS range is particularly useful for customers that want lower domestic latency or prefer to keep their workloads inside Pakistan. Entry configurations start with 1 vCore, 2 GB RAM and 40 GB storage, while the larger plans reach 4 vCores, 16 GB RAM and 300 GB storage. The service includes anti-DDoS protection, infrastructure monitoring, optional cPanel/WHM and optional managed support.

At the higher end, Dedicated Servers provide complete physical server resources with NVMe storage, 1 Gbit/s connectivity, large traffic allocations, DDoS protection and optional management. Entry configurations use Intel Core i7 hardware with 32 GB RAM, while larger systems are available for demanding databases, e-commerce platforms, applications and enterprise workloads.

Domains are another important part of the business. WebSouls handles international extensions together with Pakistan-specific domains such as .pk, .com.pk and .edu.pk. Other available extensions include .com, .net, .org, .ae, .co.uk, .uk, .us, .ca, .co, .online and .com.au. Domain transfers are supported as well, allowing hosting and domains to be managed from the same provider.

Security services extend beyond the free Let's Encrypt certificates bundled with hosting. Commercial SSL Certificates include standard domain-validated products, wildcard certificates, multi-domain SSL and extended-validation certificates suitable for larger organizations and e-commerce projects.

The main website is in English, while hosting assistance is available in English and Urdu. Prices for the Pakistani market are primarily shown in Pakistani rupees (PKR), while international customers can also use USD-denominated billing. The website is modern and responsive, with clearly separated hosting, VPS, dedicated-server, domain and security products.
