The business was founded by Muhammad Aslam Saqib, who remains associated with the company as founder and director. WebSouls is headquartered in Lahore, maintains another office in Karachi, and also has a UK presence through WebSouls Ltd. in Slough.

More than two decades of operation have turned WebSouls into a broad hosting and Internet-services provider rather than a company focused only on entry-level shared hosting. Its portfolio covers Shared Hosting, Business Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Cloud VPS, Pakistan VPS, Dedicated Servers, Domain Registration and Transfers, SSL Certificates, Website Migration, Web Development and SEO. The range works well for everything from small personal websites to agencies, online businesses and customers that need their own virtual or dedicated server.

The standard Web Hosting range is divided into Startup, Grow, Digital and Business plans. Startup includes 50 GB SSD storage and support for up to five websites, while Grow increases the allocation to 100 GB NVMe storage and supports considerably more sites. Digital and Business add stronger CPU and memory allocations together with developer-oriented features such as SSH access and Node.js support. Domains are another important part of the business. WebSouls handles international extensions together with Pakistan-specific domains such as .pk, .com.pk and .edu.pk. Domain transfers are supported as well, allowing hosting and domains to be managed from the same provider.
