Webmasters.com is one of the older American web hosting and domain companies still operating under its original Internet-era identity. The business began on October 3, 1994, in Tampa, Florida, and operates under NetTuner Corp. (nettuner.com), formerly known as TheNet.com. Its early development involved a group of technology specialists, while Leonard Bensonoff serves as company president.

The privately held company concentrates on integrated Internet services supported by technology developed internally. Its expansion has included the acquisition of Webspace (webspace.com), Webservers (webservers.com), and Yourname (yourname.com), strengthening its position in hosting, domains, and related online services.

Webmasters.com is also an ICANN-accredited registrar, operating under IANA registrar ID 634. Its registrar portfolio includes approximately 9,991 domains, giving it a more substantial domain-management background than many small independent hosting providers.

Domain registration includes DNS management, domain locking, bulk updates, account sub-users, parking, traffic statistics, automatic renewal, fraud protection, and direct registry access. Standard extensions include .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, and .us, together with several alternative extensions. Domains can remain registered with Webmasters.com even when the hosting service is maintained elsewhere.

The development department handles custom websites, redesigns, shopping carts, custom PHP and database applications, content management systems, website migration, business automation, and ongoing webmaster assistance. WordPress and other ready-made applications are available for customers who prefer to build and maintain their own websites.

E-commerce services include free Let’s Encrypt certificates, shopping-cart support, custom payment integrations, mailing-list management, OpenPGP-related tools, and custom online-store development. The qMailer system supports mailing lists containing as many as 5,000 subscribers per list.

Traffic and Internet-marketing services include search-engine consulting, manual SEO work, paid-search assistance, link-development services, traffic partnerships, and custom marketing campaigns. Some areas still reference discontinued or historically important platforms such as Yahoo Search Marketing, MSN, and older link-exchange methods. These services should be evaluated individually before purchase rather than treated as a modern managed SEO platform.
