WebJanssen is an independent hosting provider with a business history dating back to 1998. The company is owned by Uwe Janssen and has undergone an important organizational change: since October 1, 2025, the business operates as WebJanssen U.Janssen with its legal headquarters in Tarragona, Spain, while its hosting infrastructure continues to operate from Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

The service portfolio is unusually broad for a smaller hosting company and covers Linux hosting, Windows hosting, WordPress hosting, Xen VPS/root servers, managed Linux and Windows servers, Microsoft Exchange hosting, domains, SSL certificates, VPN access, email services and compliant email archiving. This combination makes WebJanssen particularly relevant for small and medium-sized businesses that still require traditional Windows, Exchange or managed-server services alongside standard Linux hosting.

Linux shared hosting supports PHP 7.x and 8.x, MySQL, Let's Encrypt SSL certificates, email accounts, FTP access and application installation. Management is handled through LiveConfig. The available packages provide between 5 GB and 50 GB of combined web and mail storage, while the larger configuration also supports reseller use and optional AutoDNS access.

Windows hosting combines ASP.NET, PHP, MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server support with Let's Encrypt SSL certificates. Administration is handled through SolidCP. Managed virtual servers are available with Windows Server, Debian and Ubuntu. They include web, mail and database components, DNS access and control-panel administration. Windows systems use SolidCP, while Debian and Ubuntu servers use LiveConfig. Customers also retain access to server-level functions such as reboot, shutdown, console access and ISO-based operating-system installation.

Microsoft Hosted Exchange remains an important part of the product range. Exchange mailboxes support Outlook, shared calendars, shared contacts, mobile synchronization and external spam and virus filtering. Optional compliant email archiving is available as well, and Exchange can also be used with domains hosted by another provider.

The additional Easy-VPN service provides a Frankfurt-based VPN endpoint with support for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS. Email archiving based on MailStore is available for both WebJanssen-hosted mailboxes and external email accounts. Existing customers can also add domains, storage, mail capacity, DNS functions, VPS resources, backup space and commercial SSL certificates.

The company primarily targets the German-speaking business market. German is the main website language, while German and English are supported for contractual communication. The service portfolio combines current hosting technologies with some older naming conventions and legacy product terminology, particularly in parts of the Windows, SSL and package catalog.
