WebHostingPad is an American web hosting company established in 2005 and headquartered in the Chicago metropolitan area. The business was created by hosting-industry professionals and later incorporated in Illinois under Complete Web Reviews, Inc. Jason Newman serves as company president, while the wider organization remains a relatively compact provider with a team in the 11–50 employee range.

The company concentrates on Linux shared hosting, managed WordPress hosting, small-site hosting, domain registration, business email, SSL certificates, website security, automated backups, SEO tools and website-building services. VPS hosting is handled through sister company VPS Depot, giving customers a migration route when ordinary shared hosting no longer provides sufficient resources.

The main shared-hosting package is the Power Plan. It supports unlimited websites, addon domains, email accounts, MySQL databases, storage and traffic, with normal shared-server resource and acceptable-use restrictions. The package also includes a free domain registration for the first year, free SSL certificates, SiteLock Lite, SSD database storage, phpMyAdmin, cron jobs, Softaculous and one-click WordPress installation.

Support for Perl, Python and Ruby on Rails broadens the package beyond basic WordPress websites. Ecommerce applications can also be installed, making the Power Plan suitable for personal websites, company pages, blogs and smaller online stores.

The Power Plan Plus operates on faster, higher-capacity servers and is better suited to WordPress websites or projects expecting more traffic. It adds a commercial SSL certificate, automated and on-demand backups, advanced spam filtering and priority technical support. Standard Power Plan accounts receive automatic backups only while remaining within the applicable account-size limits, whereas Power Plan Plus provides a more useful backup arrangement for larger websites.

WebHostingPad also has three WordPress-specific packages. WordPress Basic provides twice the memory allocation of the standard Power Plan, automated backups and a free Let’s Encrypt certificate. WordPress Pro increases processor and memory resources and uses servers optimized for busier WordPress websites. WordPress Premium raises the available computing power to approximately three times the standard allocation and memory to four times the normal level.

The WordPress packages include unlimited domains, disk space, traffic and email accounts. WordPress migration, malware scanning, backups and access to a global CDN are also included. These packages are more appropriate than the entry-level shared plan for customers running multiple plugins, ecommerce functions or websites with increasing visitor numbers.

The Power Plan Mini is a smaller and more predictable alternative. It supports two websites, 10 GB of disk space and 100 GB of monthly traffic while retaining email, SSL, WordPress installation and ecommerce functionality. Its pricing does not depend on a temporary introductory discount, making it attractive for a personal website, portfolio, presentation site or lightweight business project.

A drag-and-drop website builder powered by Weebly is included with hosting. The basic builder supports unlimited pages, responsive templates and elementary search-engine optimization. Paid Starter, Pro and Business versions add password-protected areas, membership functions, video, coupons, tax calculation and expanded ecommerce tools. The website builder requires an active WebHostingPad hosting account and is not sold as an independent hosting service.

Domain registrations are processed through Enom. WebHostingPad therefore operates as a domain reseller rather than as the underlying accredited registrar. Numerous generic and specialized extensions are available, and eligible hosting packages include one free domain registration during the first year. The promotion covers up to $16.99 and must be claimed within the first 30 days after opening the hosting account.

The separate Business Mail service is sold per mailbox. Each mailbox includes 10 GB of storage, a 25 MB message limit, spam and virus filtering, IMAP, POP3, SMTP, STARTTLS, calendars, address books and domain aliases. Customers can order up to 20 mailboxes.

Business Mail webmail supports English, French, Spanish, German, Dutch, Italian, Greek, Brazilian Portuguese, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish. The principal hosting website and checkout remain focused on English-speaking customers, with prices displayed in US dollars.

Optional services include SpamExperts (spamexperts.com) email filtering, daily backups through CodeGuard, free and paid SiteLock security, a commercial RapidSSL certificate, priority support and SEO tools powered by marketgoo (marketgoo.com).

SiteLock Lite checks websites containing up to five pages. SiteLock Fix expands scanning to as many as 500 pages and can automatically remove detected malicious code. These add-ons provide convenient account-level protection, although customers should still maintain independent backups and keep all website applications updated.

VPS service begins with the Gold package, offering 80 GB of storage, 250 GB of monthly traffic and two IP addresses. Platinum raises this to 200 GB of storage, 1.5 TB of traffic and three IP addresses. The Managed package includes 300 GB of storage, 3 TB of traffic and complete server management.

Common VPS features include root access, dedicated IP addresses, firewall protection, SSL support, WordPress, Softaculous, unlimited domains, network monitoring and reseller functionality. Existing shared-hosting customers can transfer files and databases to VPS Depot and receive account credit for unused shared-hosting time.

The website has a responsive layout that works properly on desktop and mobile screens. Navigation is straightforward, although several duplicated content sections and typographical inconsistencies remain. Some general hosting sections contain older price figures, so the dedicated pricing table, billing policy and final checkout total should be treated as the controlling values.
