WebHosting.fm is a Czech web hosting and domain-registration provider operated by W HOSTING, s.r.o. The company was incorporated on July 1, 2005, originally under the name WEBHOSTING.EU, s.r.o., and changed its name to W HOSTING, s.r.o. on February 2, 2006. Its original shareholders and managing directors were Miroslav Vondrák and Štěpánka Vondráková. The current ownership is divided equally between Jan Vondrák and Roman Pudil, who have both served as managing directors since August 2006.

The people behind the company had already been involved with domains and hosting since the mid-1990s. Their earlier work included participation in the development of GENERAL REGISTRY, which became one of the larger domain registrars in the Czech Republic. This background gives WebHosting.fm substantially more industry experience than the age of its current website design might suggest.

The active service range is aimed mainly at Czech individuals, small businesses, developers, local online stores and customers who need an affordable website with email. The company provides Shared Hosting, Domain Registration, Business Email, DNS Management and one-click application installation.

Older sections also refer to VPS and dedicated-server services, although neither category currently has a complete orderable product range. The VPS section remains under preparation, while current dedicated-server configurations and prices are unavailable. Customers specifically looking for virtual servers or dedicated infrastructure should therefore confirm availability directly before placing an order.

The shared hosting range follows a simple four-package structure. Start is a free package with 100 MB of website storage. It does not include databases, email storage or mailboxes, making it most appropriate for small static pages, experiments and basic landing pages.

Small costs CZK 29 per month and includes 1 GB of website storage, 1 GB for databases, 1 GB for email and three mailboxes. Medium, priced at CZK 49 per month, increases the allowance to 10 GB of website storage, 2 GB for databases, 10 GB for email and ten mailboxes. Large costs CZK 79 per month and includes 20 GB for websites, 5 GB for databases, 20 GB for email and unlimited mailboxes.

Paid hosting includes PHP, MySQL, FTP access, phpMyAdmin, email forwarding, autoresponders, antivirus protection and antispam filtering. Traffic is unmetered, and accounts can be upgraded without transferring the website to another service or interrupting normal operation. Depending on the selected package, customers can also use HTTPS, DNS hosting, subdomains, domain aliases, access logs and scheduled tasks.

The one-click installer provides access to more than 200 applications. The available software includes WordPress, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Joomla and Drupal, along with forums, galleries, CRM systems, wikis and other open-source applications.

WordPress and WooCommerce support makes the service practical for blogs, company websites and smaller e-commerce projects. The installer simplifies application deployment, although it should not be confused with a proprietary drag-and-drop website builder.

The business email platform supports POP3, secure POP3, IMAP, secure IMAP and SMTP. Customers can manage mailboxes, aliases, forwarding, quotas, catch-all addresses, password rules, filters, blacklists, whitelists, antivirus scanning, antispam settings and message-event logs.

The email interface supports Czech and 13 additional languages. The main commercial website, however, is primarily available in Czech, which makes the service more appropriate for local customers than for international users who require a complete English-language ordering and support environment.

Domain services cover the most commonly used Czech, European and international extensions. Customers can register or transfer CZ, SK, EU, COM, NET, ORG, INFO, BIZ and NAME domains. Expiration dates are monitored automatically, and renewal reminders are delivered by email.

CZ domains benefit from a 30-day protective period after expiration. Generic domains normally pass through a standard renewal period and may then enter a more expensive redemption stage if they are not renewed in time.

The current homepage is cleaner and more suitable for modern screen sizes, but many legal, email, documentation and historical product areas retain a narrow design associated with older websites. The result is an inconsistent customer experience, with modern commercial pages connected to documentation and administrative sections that appear to originate from an earlier generation of the platform.
