WebFactor is a long-established Romanian web hosting brand with roots going back to 2004. The service is currently operated by HZONE SRL, a Romanian company registered under CUI RO34886123 and Trade Register number J5/1289/2015. WebFactor came under new management in 2020, continuing an hosting business that had already been active on the Romanian market for many years.

The company is strongly focused on Romania. Its website and customer-facing services are in Romanian, and no complete multi-language/localized version exists. Prices are mainly displayed in EUR without VAT. The portfolio covers Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Online Store Hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Domain Registration and SSL Certificates, together with email services, server administration and other related technical services.

Shared Hosting starts with the Basic Web package at €1.95/month. Accounts use SSD storage and combine cPanel, LiteSpeed Web Server, JetBackup, CloudLinux, Imunify360, Softaculous and MultiPHP Manager. SSL certificates, antivirus and antispam protection, IMAP/POP3/SMTP email and unmetered traffic are included. Larger packages support unlimited domains and email accounts, while plans from Start Web upward can include a free .RO domain when ordered with the required annual billing period. Website migration from another hosting company is also available.

WordPress Hosting starts at €4.95/month and uses faster NVMe storage. Business WP includes 50 GB NVMe, 4 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, unlimited domains, unlimited email, unlimited traffic, a dedicated IP address, SSL and daily backup. Higher packages increase storage and allocated CPU/RAM resources, reaching 500 GB NVMe and 10 vCPU with Ultimate WP. LiteSpeed, cPanel and the WordPress-oriented environment make these plans suitable for customers who need more resources than standard shared hosting.

Online Store Hosting is designed for WooCommerce, PrestaShop and OpenCart projects. Basic VPS starts at €4.99/month with one CPU core, 2 GB DDR4 RAM and 40 GB SSD. Standard configurations extend to 6 CPU cores, 12 GB RAM and 240 GB SSD. Supported operating systems include CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu and AlmaLinux, custom operating-system installation is possible, and additional IPv4 addresses can be added for €1 each. VPS backup is optional rather than included by default.

Dedicated Servers start at approximately €55/month. The available systems are based mainly on Dell enterprise hardware and Intel Xeon E5 processors, with configurations ranging from single-processor servers to dual-CPU machines with large RAM capacities and multi-terabyte SSD storage. WebFactor also provides server colocation within its own Romanian data-center infrastructure. Customers can install 1U, 2U or tower servers and receive 1 Gbps connectivity, multiple IPv4 addresses, DDoS protection, remote technical assistance and remote-management access through technologies such as iDRAC or iLO. Customers with more advanced networking requirements can also use their own IP ranges and autonomous-system resources.

Domain registration is another important part of the service. WebFactor is a partner of ROTLD and supports .RO registrations and transfers alongside international extensions. Representative pricing includes .RO at €6.49, .COM at €8.99, .NET at €11.99, .ORG at €9.99 and .EU at €7.99. DNS management is included, with normal support for A, CNAME, MX and nameserver records.

SSL Certificates range from free certificates supplied with hosting accounts to commercial Positive SSL and Wildcard SSL products. Installation assistance and certificate reissuance are included with commercial SSL orders.

The service catalog is broad, although several pricing and software details deserve attention before placing a long-term order. Some displayed annual totals for VPS, dedicated servers and colocation do not correspond exactly with the monthly rate, while a few SSL billing labels are also inconsistent. The hosting specifications still mention PHP support only through PHP 8.1, which is dated information for a 2026 hosting environment. Customers needing a specific PHP release or paying for a longer billing period should therefore confirm the exact configuration and final invoice before activation.
