VPSnet is a Lithuanian VPS, cloud, dedicated server, colocation, domain and infrastructure provider operated by UAB Esnet in Vilnius. The hosting operation dates back to 2007, while the present UAB Esnet legal entity was registered in 2010. The company operates under registration number 302482484 and VAT number LT100007300313, with Jonas Savulionis serving as manager.

The service range is focused primarily on infrastructure rather than conventional shared hosting. VPSnet currently offers VPS, Container VPS, Cloud VPS, Dedicated Servers, Colocation, Domains, DNS, SSL certificates, managed applications, Firecracker Functions, AI-assisted administration, REST API access and MCP automation. Private networking, load balancing and additional GPU-oriented services are also being developed around the same platform.

The standard VPS range uses Firecracker microVM technology, combining Linux virtualization with stronger isolation than traditional operating-system containers. VPS customers receive root access, a public IP address, NVMe SSD storage, SSH key management, snapshots, browser console access and daily backups. Entry configurations start with 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM and 10 GB NVMe storage, while larger plans scale to 16 vCPU, 48 GB RAM and 300 GB NVMe.

Container VPS remains available for lightweight Linux workloads and uses Virtuozzo 7. These plans offer lower virtualization overhead and scale from basic 1 GB RAM environments to substantially larger configurations. Network speeds increase with the selected package and can reach several hundred Mbps, accompanied by sizeable monthly traffic allowances.

For workloads requiring a fully isolated kernel, Windows Server or stronger high-availability features, Cloud VPS is the more advanced option. It uses KVM virtualization, AMD EPYC processors and replicated Ceph NVMe storage. Data is stored in three copies across the storage cluster, and virtual machines can automatically restart on another physical node following a host failure. Linux, Windows Server and BSD operating systems are supported, with Windows licensing billed separately.

Dedicated Servers cover both economical legacy hardware and modern AMD systems. Available configurations include Intel Xeon platforms, Ryzen 9 systems with DDR5 memory and more powerful AMD EPYC servers with NVMe storage. Custom GPU, high-memory, storage-focused and blade-server configurations can also be prepared. Dedicated machines include remote KVM or IPMI access and generally use 1 Gbps network connectivity.

Colocation is available inside VPSnet's own Vilnius data center, with support for rack servers, tower systems and non-standard equipment. Services include redundant power, network connectivity, DDoS filtering, IP KVM, remotely managed PDUs, physical security and remote-hands assistance. Additional IPv4 and IPv6 resources, ASN rental, firewall configuration, backup storage and SMS monitoring can also be added.

Domain registration is integrated directly into the same customer platform and covers more than 200 domain extensions. This includes .lt, .com, .net, .org, .eu and numerous country-code and newer generic extensions. Domain users receive DNS hosting, DNSSEC support, DNS templates, DDNS functionality and API-based management.

The SSL offering includes managed HTTPS, Automatic SSL for supported applications and portable commercial certificates. DV, OV and EV certificates are available, including products from Sectigo and RapidSSL.

A substantial managed-application catalog is also available for VPS and Cloud VPS. More than 140 applications can be deployed into Docker-based environments, including WordPress, Nextcloud, n8n, Grafana, GitLab Community Edition, Vaultwarden, Jellyfin, Keycloak, Mattermost and NocoDB. Application management includes service health monitoring, logs, HTTPS, access controls, upgrades, rollback points and selected backup restoration.

VPSnet Functions adds serverless execution based on isolated Firecracker microVMs. Python, Node.js, PHP and Bash jobs can be executed through the control panel, REST API, MCP or webhooks. This is useful for integrations, automation, CI jobs and short event-driven workloads where maintaining a permanent server would be unnecessary.

AI-assisted server administration is integrated directly into the platform. The AI console can inspect server configurations, troubleshoot issues, install software, work with deployments and assist with automation. MCP support allows compatible AI clients to interact with VPSnet infrastructure, while scoped REST API keys provide conventional programmatic management for servers, domains, DNS, snapshots, applications and Functions.

The service is localized in English, Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian, making it well suited to the Baltic market while remaining accessible to international customers. Product pricing is primarily shown in EUR.
