VPS2day is now a historical / inactive VPS hosting brand. The original vps2day.com service no longer works as an independent provider and now redirects into the servinga Cloud VPS platform. The brand effectively ended as a standalone hosting identity in December 2024, when VPS2day was consolidated under the servinga umbrella brand.VPS2day was founded in April 2014 by Christian Lertes and Adam Lakota as a self-service B2C VPS provider, initially with points of presence in Germany and the Netherlands. The company later expanded into multiple European and US locations and became known for prepaid KVM VPS hosting, fast server provisioning, and a simple infrastructure-first model.
The old VPS2day service was focused on VPS, cloud servers, Linux and Windows virtual machines, SSD/NVMe storage, full root/admin access, IPv4/IPv6 connectivity, backups/snapshots, scalable resources, and a self-service VPS management panel. It was not mainly a shared hosting or domain registrar brand; its strongest use case was virtual infrastructure for developers, agencies, sysadmins, small businesses, VPN endpoints, test environments, and production web applications.
A key business change happened in March 2018, when VPS2day was integrated into its parent company, servinga GmbH. After that, VPS2day continued as a recognizable VPS brand for several years, but the long-term direction moved toward servinga Cloud. The final consolidation in 2024 made VPS2day inactive as a separate brand, while the infrastructure and customer-facing product line continued through servinga.
The successor platform is broader than the original VPS2day offer. It now includes Cloud VPS, IPv6-only VPS, S3 Object Storage, Dedicated VPN, Dedicated Servers, Managed Kubernetes, Managed Hosting, Private Cloud, Managed WAF, Proxmox consulting, and cloud consulting services. The active website is available in English and German, with prices mainly shown in EUR.
