VMMS, formally Vietnam Multimedia Services Joint Stock Company, is a Hanoi-based provider of web hosting, domain registration, server infrastructure, email, software development and online business services. The company was established in 2007 and has developed a broad portfolio aimed mainly at Vietnamese individuals, developers, agencies and small to medium-sized businesses.

Its services cover international and Vietnamese domains, Linux hosting, Windows hosting, SSD hosting, SAS hosting, reseller hosting, Cloud VPS, dedicated servers, server colocation, managed servers, business email, dedicated email systems, SSL certificates, packaged websites, custom web development, software development and digital marketing. VMMS also operates a race-management platform for participant registration, check-in, timing and result processing.

The shared-hosting portfolio includes several product families. SSD Hosting is suitable for personal websites, company sites, blogs and smaller online stores. Packages include SSD storage, email accounts, databases, subdomains, parked domains and support for one or more websites, depending on the selected plan. Availability for this range reaches 99.9%.

SAS Hosting is available for both Linux and Windows applications. Supported technologies include PHP, MySQL, ASP, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, POP3, SMTP and Webmail. Weekly backups are included, together with a 99% uptime commitment. Larger packages provide more storage, databases, email resources and support for multiple hosted websites.

Reseller Hosting is designed for web developers, agencies and businesses that want to create separate hosting accounts for their own customers. Reseller packages include private name servers, account-management tools and capacity for multiple websites or domains. The larger configurations provide up to 100 GB of storage and support approximately 150 hosted domains.

The Cloud VPS range begins with a small Linux configuration containing 512 MB RAM, one processor core, 20 GB of storage and unmetered traffic. Higher plans increase capacity to 8 GB RAM, four cores and 250 GB of storage. VPS customers receive administrative access, operating-system installation and the option to purchase additional storage, memory, CPU cores, IP addresses, control-panel licenses and server-management services.

Dedicated-server services are available in Vietnamese facilities operated by FPT and VDC. Customers receive full administrative access through SSH, Telnet or Remote Desktop, depending on the operating system. RAID configurations are available for suitable server packages.

Colocation is also available for customers that own their equipment but require rack space, bandwidth, power and operational support. Colocation plans include domestic and international connectivity, IP addresses, power allowances, bandwidth monitoring and SMS notifications for technical incidents.

The managed-server service is suitable for businesses without their own system administrator. It covers server monitoring, operating-system maintenance, security updates, service configuration, log inspection, backup assistance, troubleshooting and periodic reporting. Three service levels are available, with response targets ranging from 24 hours to four hours.

VMMS provides both Business Email and Dedicated Email Server packages. Business Email is suitable for smaller organizations requiring a limited number of mailboxes, while dedicated email plans provide between 100 GB and 300 GB of storage with unlimited account creation. Features include Webmail, Outlook compatibility, SMTP, POP3, IMAP, aliases, contact groups, antivirus filtering, spam protection, autoresponders and incoming or outgoing mail monitoring.

Domain services include international extensions and Vietnamese .VN domains. Customers receive DNS management, domain locking, subdomain controls and renewal notifications. Standard domain registrations can be activated within approximately five minutes, while shared-hosting services can normally be provisioned within around ten minutes.

The SSL portfolio includes GeoTrust and RapidSSL certificates for domain validation, business validation, wildcard protection and extended validation. Encryption of up to 256 bits is available. Some certificate names belong to older product generations, so the current certificate brand, validation procedure and warranty level should be confirmed before purchase.

Website-development services include company-profile sites, news portals, online stores, packaged websites and fully customized projects. Packaged services include administrative access, initial content entry, training and basic visual customization. Additional work can cover responsive design, software upgrades, hosting migration, branding removal and custom development.

The company operates mainly in Vietnamese, and product prices are shown in Vietnamese dong. Parts of the account and domain interface include an English selector, but no complete English-language version exists for the full service portfolio.

The website retains an older desktop-oriented design and is not consistently optimized for modern mobile devices. Some technical specifications also remain connected to outdated platforms such as Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008 R2, CentOS 5, PHP 5, older Plesk releases and Kloxo. Several dedicated-server configurations use older Intel Xeon generations. Customers should request written confirmation of the actual hardware, storage technology, operating system, control panel and security-maintenance policy included with a new order.
