Viva, legally registered as Viva Armenia CJSC, is one of Armenia’s largest telecommunications and digital-service companies. The business was legally established in November 2004, received its telecommunications license during the same year, and commercially launched its network on July 1, 2005. Mobile and fixed communications remain central to its activity, but the business portfolio has expanded considerably into shared hosting, domain registration, cloud virtual servers, colocation, backup, server administration, business email, and Microsoft 365.

Viva operates on a scale far beyond that of a conventional local hosting provider. The company’s development has included several important ownership and infrastructure changes. The traditional shared hosting range includes five packages, from WEBHOST Light to WEBHOST PRO. The simultaneous presence of two hosting ranges can make package selection less straightforward. The traditional range remains connected to the main business navigation, while the newer cPanel packages provide lower prices, larger storage allowances, and a more contemporary software environment. Customers should confirm the active package name, renewal price, included resources, and control-panel features before ordering.

The IaaS cloud platform is suitable for businesses that require virtual servers without purchasing or maintaining physical hardware. Standard configurations range from 2 vCPU cores, 2 GB RAM, and 100 GB SSD storage to 24 vCPU cores, 32 GB RAM, and 1,024 GB SSD storage. Each configuration includes one public IP address, a 100 Mbps unlimited connection, remote resource management, and a choice of Debian, CentOS, or Windows.

Custom configurations can be assembled through the resource calculator. The virtual data-center environment supports server and storage deployment, virtual-network administration, firewall configuration, and automated backup operations. This provides considerably more flexibility than a basic fixed-specification VPS package.

Veeam Backup is available for virtual servers operating in Viva’s cloud environment. The service includes daily incremental backups, weekly full backups, encryption, centralized management, and a 14-day retention period. Restoration is completed within one business day. Backup capacities range from 500 GB to 10 TB.

The colocation service accommodates individual rack units, complete racks, private cages, and customized infrastructure deployments. Businesses can combine rack space with Internet connectivity, power allocation, IP addresses, remote administration, backup, firewall configuration, operating-system installation, incident response, and managed server support.

Additional technical services cover the installation and commissioning of physical servers, switches, firewalls, operating systems, and hypervisors. Backup restoration, configuration management, operating-system maintenance, incident handling, and KVM-over-IP access are also available.

Viva registers .am and .հայ domain names for Armenian residents and international customers. Registration is completed through a Viva service center rather than through a fully automated hosting checkout. The newer hosting packages include DNS management and free SSL certificates.

The business portfolio also includes Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Business Standard, and Business Premium. Available functions include custom-domain email, Microsoft Teams, web and mobile Office applications, 1 TB of cloud storage per user, spam and malware filtering, desktop Office applications on higher packages, identity protection, device administration, and Microsoft Defender security.

Viva does not offer conventional bare-metal dedicated servers or standard reseller-hosting packages within its regular catalog. Cloud IaaS, colocation, and managed server services provide the closest alternatives for businesses needing greater control than shared hosting.
