It is suited to backup storage, archive repositories, large file libraries, NAS-style storage, data retention, media storage and business applications that need a large disk footprint on a dedicated machine. The configuration provides full server control and enough capacity to centralise data without relying on multiple external storage devices.
VeloxServ storage servers are dedicated machines designed for large data sets, archive storage, backup repositories, NAS-style use, retention workloads and data-heavy applications. The storage range is fully customisable and can be built around the operating system and additional software required by the customer. Customers keep full control of the server, can manage it remotely as if it were physical equipment in their own premises, and can request optional virtual firewalls or software licenses where needed. Storage servers can use RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 or 60 configurations to improve performance, redundancy or capacity according to the workload.
